With the just-dropped patch 27.6 that heralds the coming of Hearthstone's upcoming expansion, Showdown in the Badlands, comes a new in-game event that's live right now! That's right folks, Hallow's End is back, with its own reward track, which includes packs and a couple new portraits to unlock. Let's take a look!

Event Track: Tasks & Rewards

With the event already live, we can show you exactly what you can expect when logging into Hearthstone after you're done reading this article:

As we can see, the first reward, a Standard pack, is quite the freebie - just play a game of constructed or battlegrounds and you're good to go. I'm sure these tasks won't get more complex as the days pass!

The rest of the rewards, gained after reaching certain event XP milestones, are as follows:

  • 500 XP - 1 TITANS pack, 1 Festival of Legends pack.
  • 1000 XP - Battlegrounds Hero Skin - Lich King Deryl
  • 2250 XP - 1 TITANS pack, 1 Standard pack.
  • 3000 XP - Demon Hunter Skin - Pirate Illidan

Curiously, one would expect perhaps a Showdown in the Badlands pack to show up on the track, but one should perhaps also not look a gift headless horseman's horse in the mouth!
