Runeterra Custom Card Creation Poll

How many of you would want a Weekly custom Runeterra card creation competition, just like the one for Hearthstone? I know LoR has a smaller presence on this site than HS but I think it’d be fun.

I would absolutely love for the custom LoR scene to grow, and competitions would be fun. That said, there are a few problems. Namely the first is that because the custom LoR scene is so small, we'd have an extremely small participant count for each competition.
The big problem however is that there isn't an easy way to make good custom LoR cards. The LoR Card Maker is just not that great. It's not bad, and it's certainly better than any of the online alternatives, but it's still lacking in several areas. There is an MSE version which is supposed to be pretty good, although that does require you to download the MSE program and all of its files onto your computer, which not everyone will want to do.
I say this again: I would LOVE for the custom LoR scene to thrive and grow, but I don't believe now is the right time to have any competitions.
Yeah, you're probably right. Once Runeterra grows and establishes itself I'm sure that a Hearthcards equivalent will pop up that keeps up to date with the new Keywords and doesn't require using another site to store the image. Looking at Reddit, r/CustomLoR has around 2.5K users while r/CustomHearthstone has around 86K users. I guess it's better to just wait :(
For the competitions, Demon's points stand for now, that does not mean we cant grow the LOR FC community.
You can keep making custom LOR cards yourself and show them to ppl and get them excited ;-)
