So this implies some sort of attack buffing synergies, because just a couple of 2/6 is not that great, even if they have taunt. Surely they can't just be banking on Fields of Strife?
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
This is pretty close to what DH has been needing... Something to stand in the way while they go face. I'm not seeing a lot of ways to pump the attack of these minions, but DH relies at it's core to let the hero do the damage anyway.
A poor card that makes lots of demands for a massive stall but ultimately, where would this card even go into?
The 2 attack makes it easy for other minions to value trade into it, and even considering that its essentially 3 taunts in one card, its still costs 6, which means its practically 50-50 whether an aggro deck would destroy you before you pull out this god card to stop them.
Im reminded a bit of [Hearthstone Card (best of shell) Not Found], in that both are stallers, and puts out big taunts in a class that has difficulties maintaining tempo. But that card doesn't come with conditions, and can be traded whenever its a useless in the matchup. This card conversely offers none of that flexibility. Because lets be honest here, if its not specifically against aggro, this card would suck, and suck hard.
But we are still early into the reveals for dhunter and we still dont know the core set. So there's still a chance, however fleeting it may be.
Hmm interesting. This seems good in any class but DH. DH prefers FACE most of the time, so i'm not sure if a control tool is that good. That being said, it's pretty easy for DH to trigger the battlecry, so that's no problem. Maybe DH wants to try to use this in a Lady S'theno deck or something? Maybe in some kind of questline deck, because you can mana cheat it out for less mana?
Also Coilskar Commander has both a lot, and alsmost no synergy with Xhilag of the Abyss. Lets me explain. If one of the taunts survives, then a turn 6 Coilskar Commander into turn 7 Xhilag of the Abyss is bad because you lose 1 Xhilag's Stalk. If one of the taunts dies, then a turn 7 Xhilag of the Abyss will be VERY sticky unless your opponent has a board clear.
The best synergy besides stalling and potential Xhilag of the Abyss is that i can see in DH, is that Coilskar Commander can refresh your Kurtrus, Demon-Renders hero power a few times because it can be a bit diffucult for some decks to remove. That being said, DH is still going to get like 5 more cards, so maybe some kind of synergy is in one of those 5 unrevealed cards.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Not too sure about this minion... maybe it can fit in what remains of big demon DH as a stall card while you wait for Sigil of Reckoning and other big demons? Or maybe Fel DH if you're behind...probably will only see play if there's lots of aggro decks to counter.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Conditional turn 6 leave 18 health and 6 attack worth of taunt on board is a bit lackluster.
Looks annoying to play against :)
Interesting card - and the condition is not that hard to meet!
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
6/18 worth of taunts for 6 mana is pretty good, and I don't think you'll have trouble meeting the condition. Attack is a bit low though.
Quote From doingtheobviousConditional turn 6 leave 18 health and 6 attack worth of taunt on board is a bit lackluster.
As much as 18 health might be a good way to stall, I also see how setting yourself to play defensively with a class mostly known for its aggression is indeed lackluster.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
Seems OK. The price is a little steep, except that DH has a decent number of cheap spells that they like running, so the only problem becomes getting this in hand to activate it. Could be an OK roadblock for a slower DH deck against aggro, but otherwise I'm not sure this helps win games.
I have spoken.
I don't know if this cards works in that way, but if you get it o turn 2-3 maybe on 6 you can use it's effect without any restrictions.
This just seems like the exact opposite of what DH wants to do. Low attack, high health, taunt? Pass for me chief.

Playing taunt walls just really isn't in Demon Hunter's wheel house, and this doesn't really change that.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Seems far too weak and slow for its cost, and the effect isn't that great. It could work for another class, but as it stands I don't think it'll see any play.
