It is so good it might even be included in non-dragon decks (maybe in hopes of fishing for the healing dragon) given that it does not require dragon synergy similar to Stonehill Defender . Other than that an obvious 5-star arena card that will shape the meta given that it is common.
With all the buffs given to paladin and the poor card draw the class suffers from, this will be an auto include in all dragon paladin decks. The lifesteal is probably not going to win games but healing for 2, with a potential 4 in some matches, it might get you far enough to play actual heal cards to stabilize.
Might be a decent card for healadin, if this ever gets off.
Probably the cutest card in the set. Why wouldn't this be an auto include? Its only true drawback is that its a class card so not all classes can bask in its cuteness

One of the worst of the "discover a dragon" dragons. But it will surelly be played in Dragon pala.
It's an okay minion, but it's kinda...boring
More dragon generation for paladin. The healing early can be a nice addition but overall seems pretty good run in highlander control paladin style.
I have high hopes for Dragon Paladin with this card. Dragon Speaker and Dragonrider Talritha greatly benefit this card since Lifesteal scales well with attack. Along with Amber Watcher, a very survivable control-ish Dragon Paladin seems viable. This also super synergizes with Talritha since it generates a new dragon for her to jump to guaranteed.
This confirms it, for some reason mage got shafted with their dragon explorer, Azure Explorer, why does that one cost 4 and this and the hunter explorer 3?
+2 Spell Damage is worth more than Poisonous and Lifesteal.
We can agree to disagree on that, but regardlessit could have been 3 mana +1 spell damage.
I think consistency is neat, so 3-mana and +1 spell damage would have enabled matching explorers. However, the Druid one is totally different in both stats and cost.
It's not about being neat, is about the card being playable. The druid one is costed the same as the paladin and hunter, it has base vanilla stats (4/7 for 5 mana) and pays an extra mana for the battlecry and taunt + 1 health. The mage one is the only one pays two mana above vanilla stat line.
