Highlander Face Hunter

This deck took me from rank 13 to rank 3 with 6 losses. No exaggeration. I literally did not lose a game until rank 7. The idea is to play aggressively and try to maximize face damage. Trade sparingly, unless you will die immediately you want to get that face damage in. Only trade when you expect a board clear or when you can protect a high value minion with a good trade up.

Your power cards are Zephrys and Brann, keep either in the Mulligan ALWAYS. Do not waste Zephrys on turn 2 unless you absolutely need the tempo. Brann + Kill Command is a great 10 mana play if you don't get Brann down turn 7. Leroy Jenkins has synergy with Unleash the Hounds.

Play Flark into your opponents board clears whenever possible for a quick activation.

Work in Hero Powers often if you can avoid loosing tempo.

    I have made some tweaks to the deck myself. As some suggested, the early game plays of leper gnome and goblin bomb were not worth it. I replaced them with a couple adds that were a bit less wea

    This deck is pretty darn good and fun to play! - well for me at least!

     

    So far i'm 41-20 

    At the beginning this took me from rank 5 with 2 stars to rank 2 full stars ! Never ever would i have thought that highlander hunter could be that good !

    I changed the Leper Gnome tough :)

    I feel like there are better options than goblin bomb and leper gnome - I'd be sad if i got those late game and they don't pressure early game. I love the deck but I reckon a Jar Dealer for value, a Murmy for stickiness , or a Springpaw because beast/2 rush minions/curve fill would be more effective.

    It's worth noting that, if you need to clear your opponent's board, Zephrys on turn 6 is a guaranteed board wipe spell (pretty much) - it will offer either Swipe or Consecration (or both).

    Hey, it's a highlander deck I might actually be able to make! I have a golden Brann, and I've been wanting to try him out, but don't have enough dust to craft both Zephrys AND Subject 9. But just Zephrys - that I could get behind. I have everything else in this list (mostly). I think I'll try this out! (P.S. - do you think Shieldbreaker is better than Whirliglider? I've been severely unimpressed with Whirliglider as a 2-drop; feels like there are much better options than her, and as a smorc deck, you really want a way to get thru taunts.)

      With all the mechs in this deck that have magnetic it is very useful to have something on the board to go face and upgrade your mechs. But at the same time Shieldbreaker is clutch when you need it .

    I try so many new Decks in this new Meta :) I Played and enjoyed your Deck from Rang 5 to Rang 3 :) but with 1 change. I cuted 1 Goblin Bomb for Tracking

    This deck is really good and I love it.

    Just some questions:

    Is Sandbinder necessary? If you have Zephrys then draw it then it’s kinda useless. If you keep it in, what could I replace it for a budget?

    Also, what can i replace Flark with?

      I would replace the Sandbinder with a Defender of Argus (I had it in an earlier build and it was quite good). While drawing Sandbinder after drawing Zephrys is a bit of a bummer in theory, in practice you usually win before that is an issue since you played Zephrys. 

      Also Flark is quite powerful in this deck, but if you need a replacement you could play a Highmane or some other value card with aggression. Missle Launcher could also be an option since it has magnetic and works well with Venomizer.

      I am still toying with the 1 drops in this deck, trying to decide if the early damage is worth the poor draws later in the game.

    do you think [Hearthstone Card (Vareesa Windrunner) Not Found] is really worth it in this deck with only 4 damaging spells? wouldn't something else be better?
