Welcome to Highlander Paladin!

This deck is something else. We play at a high tempo most of the game, and then run an 8-drop for card draw? It doesn't look quite right, but man does it feel good! As is the nature of highlander decks you have a lot of flexibility in card selections, and so let's get straight into explaining those.

Card Selections:

-Nightmare Amalgam - This card pulls double duty in that it's a mech to magnetize onto and an elemental to pull with Sandbinder

-High Priest Thekal - So this card seems a little strange at first, but it does two things for us. First, its a Spider-Tank, nuff said. And Secondly, Thekal turns all of our incidental healing (Truesilver Champion and Zilliax) into essentially armor gain.

Honestly, I think those are the more questionable selections, but if anybody leaves a comment confused about another inclusion I will add it to this section with my justifications.

Mulligans:

This deck is a bit weird to mulligan with as you never want to keep a one drop other than Crystology. Reason being the deck runs such a high density of one drops that even if you mulligan three or four of them, you will more than likely get one back anyways. This allows us to more aggressively mulligan for Sir Finley of the Sands and Zephrys the Great, otherwise known as the two best cards in the deck. So in short: Keep Zephrys, Finley and Crystology, throw everything else away.
