The Braum/Anivia decks have been very, very difficult to face.  I’ve taken different approaches to dealing with it and nothing is working consistently.  Play the long game; rekindled/duplicated  champs.  Play aggressive; ruination.  Pretty frustrating.

I guess I’ll just play this deck too

I doubt you’ll have much luck testing out singleton decks vs standard decks.  Jump into the gauntlet and tweak as needed if your deck seems “weak.”

This Noxus/SI deck worked well for me.  Played a couple of games to feel it out then made a minor adjustment.  I did lose a couple of games on the way to 7 wins.

Not sure how to display the deck, but here’s the code:

I've only played LoR on an iPhone 11 and lag only occurs if there is weak service coverage where I am at.  The biggest issue I have with playing on a mobile is if I fat finger a card from my hand and accidentally play the wrong card.  This can be addressed by checking to make sure you've "grabbed" the correct card before dropping it in play.

I am struggling mightily against any half-decent SI player, and looking for some general advice on how to approach them.  I've tried to take various approaches against SI decks adjusting for previous ways SI players have beaten me, and it's gotten to a point where I'm losing a majority of SI games one way or the other.

A major part of the problem for me is trying to "play around" Vengeance and Ruination primarily since I've gotten burned by either building powerful units to see them wiped away with a 7 mana fast spell.  Also, finding myself falling behind by holding onto big units, trying not to overextend myself in the mid/late game (knowing that they can drop a Ruination once I've gained control), as they are amassing & building up units through value plays like Ravenous Butcher or Chronicler of Ruin + The Undying/Cursed Keeper, Shark Chariot, and Barkbeast, etc.

Most of my wins vs SI are with Noxus/Ionia hyper burn, applying as much pressure as I can early and hoping my early draws win me the match in the first 6-9 rounds which isn't fun or gratifying.  Sometimes I'll simply disregard the existence of Ruination, hoping the other player doesn't draw one and get away with it but I lose a lot of games this way too.

Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

As a new player I was really frustrated with the elusive decks that *felt* OP, so I started playing a lot of Ionia to better understand their strengths and weaknesses  Maybe it's because my starter Ionia + P&Z deck isn't optimized properly, but spamming elusive units or setting up for the Empyrian K.O. blow has earned me as many losses as wins.

Any deck with the perfect draws can feel unbeatable if played correctly.

Cards with so few counter options that are exclusive to certain decks take a lot of the fun away from the game for me.  I can deal with my losses (they are many lol), but when a card gets thrown down and my decks counter options are extremely limited (i.e. I am playing Demacia/Freljord and can only hope I've drawn purify), I just surrender and move on to the next game.  I would like to look back at my plays and say, "Maybe if I did this or that differently, maybe next time.  Lesson learned!"  All I get with cards/combinations like this is a completely helpless feeling which isn't fun at all.
