I am also an arena player, and I remember reading way back about arena impacts for expansions, starting with Un' Goro. I'd love to see the reviews come back again. I would like to participate, but an entire expansion seems a bit much, though I might actually do one for the next mini-set.
I was worried this meta might be a complete mess, but I am honestly having quite allot of fun. Sure, there are some extremely annoying matches and moments, but the balancing in this meta is kinda like ''let's get every class a ton of powerful options''. I personally like it way more than the previous one. Back then something like Twin Tyrant was a monster you were completely afraid of, since it would often decide the match. Now the card is still very powerful, but it's just one of the powerful tools you have at your disposal.
And it really needs to be said, the amount of card generation/discovery right now is nuts. In majority of other meta's, a card like Twilight Runner would be a super-premium card, while now he is ''just'' a very nice card.
Is it confirmed if you can get this in arena? Cuz this is pretty insane. There isn't a single bad effect here. Even the ''worst'' ones are perfectly fine (considering they come with a 2/2 body you only payed 2 mana for), most of them are in the very good or amazing range, and some of them are straight up broken, like the Excavation Site ( atleast really good), Uldum(alt) or Frozen Throne boards.
I'm still not ready for reviews, but promise I will be for the next expansion. I think it's really nice we got some fresh new cards to play with, hope they will do more expansion/adventure mix-up in the future.
I am still in my lazy/study phase, but I will try to review some cards in the future, since this is a nice, small set. I will say though that Winged Guardian is a pure beast (pun not intended). It feels a bit weird to see Bog Creeper get powercreeped like this, but seriously, we already learned that ''cannot be targeted by spells'' is a pretty big deal, and the fact it leaves a 6/1 body with taunt that also can't be targeted is just insane. This will be a nightmare in arena.
