I have another problem with mercenary coins and I have contacted Blizzard multiple times for this. It turns out that sometimes I only receive coins in my packs, however this is not stated anywhere on their website that this happens. I dont own every single portrait of the same rarity and therefore a portrait should be included in every pack.
Do you guys have the same problem?
PS: The GM's are nice as always, but the solution is horrible (as always). They are blaming me for being confused.

If you buy "Traditional Heartstone"(tm) packs for gold you can double-click/double-tap on the "100 gold" button on the left to enter a custom amount. I tested this with Stormwind packs. This seems not to work with Mercenaries packs.
This is not good for Blizzard because I would've sacrificed some of my gold for this but not if I have to buy the packs one by one. Perhaps I've already lost interest in the mode once this is fixed.
Well so far i realy like it. Only bought the Welcome Bundle and the rest , at least till now i`m playing it F2P.
Had to read and learn how the Game Mode works but once you get the hang of it , it is pretty fun - at least to me :).
Hope that this enjoyment will last and that the mode will get even bigger / better.
Same for me. The small bundle for 5€ was okay and currently I'm having fun. Let's see how long this lasts. But if I would have bought one of the preorders and had no fun with it like OP does I would have regret it much.
Is there any way to find out for which mercs I own a alternate (eg. golden) Portrait? I opened some golden ones but didn't pay attention. So I had to click on each card to see if I can choose another portrait. There doesn't seem to be a quick way or search keyword. I searched for "golden" but that only showed me the mercs for which I already set the golden portrait.
On the one hand I appreciate their transparency. On the other hand this confirms my fears that Mercenaries will be unfinished and rushed. But I'll still play it. Have a six-pack prepared in the fridge and I hope the bucks won't be game breaking/ fun breaking.
The mode will be released tomorrow and there was no pre-release streamer event or similar. I'm used to be on the positive side for Mercenaries but for me that looks like Blizz is not very confident about the game (mode)...
So first game: Moozaki mage. What do you do againts this? First you don't realize the deck because other mage decks look similar. Second game: AnnoyPaladin: Battlecrys cost x more. Heropowers disabled, then Annoy-o-tron. Made everything in my hand unplayable. Already frustrated :(
I already asked myself why there was no Swizard deck in the "weekend of wild decks" article. Now I know the answer: you have your section now. Congrats!
I played exactely 3 games of PvP on the first day with level 15 mercs...
I'm missing 1-2 legendaries for each meta comp.
Wait, I have not a single Merc for which I own all the portraits and I open coin-only packs!

Why wasn't there any effort to build up hype then?
Even Duels had a pre-release event.
You could play a Control deck to farm all those aggro decks
What about a PvP Event with fully developed Mercs? Or a kind of draft format: every player get's X Packs and has to form a team from it.
