I agree, this seems to be a pretty fair assessment of the landmarks. I use Inner Sanctum in an Aksha/Renekton deck and it is quite useful there, as you can drop it turn three and slam two buffs on Renekton turn four. Although I haven’t used it outside of this deck so I can’t testify to its use elsewhere.
Am I the only one who eighter runs SejuaniSwain or ViRiven, decks that both don't care about Viego because the only thing that matters to these decks is how much hard removal the opponent has (which Viego decks do not tend to have plenty of)
To me Viego seems very doable as a matchup but sure: Viego is a very strong aggro counter while giving control a hard time aswell.
I don't think he has to be nerfed but that comes from someone who plays decks that only care about the opponent's answers, not their threats
I feel you there. I am currently running a Zed/Darius aggrieved deck, and I really have to worry only about my opponents removal. Control gets slaughtered by it
I’ve noticed this for myself as a player, and I’m curious if anyone else feels the same way. The super-villain Syndrome once said, “With everyone super, no one will be.” It seems to me like that has almost happened here in LoR.
What I mean by this is we are currently sitting in a pretty balance meta. You can use a huge variety of decks now to laser through the rankings.
My problem is, with no predominant decks that are the “Top Dog” to take down, there isn’t as much satisfaction in a victory. My decks don’t feel special, because nearly any deck is good right now.
It’s a weird paradox. It sucks fighting a boss who you know you will lose too. But it also sucks when there isn’t really any boss at all.
These are just my musing’s. I’d be curious to hear if you have noticed the same thing.
Shadow dude is a bit meh by comparison, I like the idea of mind control being better implemented into the game (follower stealing) but I don't like that he's also a better Nasus at the same time. (A little too easy mode) but not op because of how slow he is.
One thing I like about Virgo is that while he doesn’t fit with a lot of champions, he is unique in that 90% of the Shadow Isle champions work well with him. I find it interesting
Not sure who downvoted, I have a sense that you guys are just bad at playing off meta lists, or maybe you aren't control players hard to say.
Like if you want meta trash, just go to mobalytics, easy to play, easier to win.
Just because someone down votes your deck, doesn’t mean they are a bad player. It just means either your deck doesn’t fit their style, or they had a bad experience with your deck.
if you want more off meta decks to be played, you can always post more decks for people to try.
Either way, it doesn’t help your argument if you call people bad player
How's Flurry of Fists in that list? I imagine it'd be kinda bad since Double Attack is a pretty meh keyword if there's no Overwhelm. Like it attacks once fast and if it even attacks a second time, it probably just dies. Though, it does give cards like Rivershaper Quick Attack for value so I can imagine when it'd be pretty good, but Rush is usually better in my mind.
I like it because I can pair it off with Sonic Wave and Redfin Hammersnout; which give Challenger and Vulnerable. This forces enemies to block with stronger enemies, if they can block at all. It also allows Pyke to level up twice as fast.
I’ve been playing one, maybe two years now. Just shortly after it was released. I normally can access the gauntlets no problem, but it’s being weird this tim
Has anyone else run into an issue where they cannot access the gauntlet? In my UI it is all faded out, and when I click on it it says I have to play more challenges and quests.
I have moderate success with it so far. I’m hoping that they come up with more ways to support Pyke, because he is super interesting. Once you get him going, he’s a beast
I know you probably meant Zoe but that made me think of Lulu/Taric. Since Taric got buffed alongside Mountain Sojourners I thought there'd be more people playing it but... has anybody actually seen Taric decks or just Support decks in general? It's been 3 days but I still haven't managed to find one. I'm curious as to how well it's doing.
I’ve been experimenting with a Lulu/Pyke deck. I’m trying to experiment on ways outside of Lurk to level up Pyke
I love the mechanics of these two champions, and they fit similar roles, but I’m having a hard putting them into good decks. I’ve tried mixing with both Shurima and Freljord, but I’m having a hard time maximizing their potential.
I put together this deck because I’ve been wanting to play Lissandra Trundle, while avoiding the flack that deck gets. I like it because it excells at mid and long game, and doesn’t require the Watcher to win.
I now agree about being salty about this card. I don’t think it needs a nerf, and all around I think it’s a fine card; but when when you lose a guaranteed victory where you would have dealt 43 damage... It gets a little irritating
I had an Interesting fight with a Lissandra/Trundle deck a couple days ago. I was using a dragon centric, Shivana/Sol deck. I found it to be interesting fight. I managed to pull in a win, and she was unable to pull in her watcher. I think The Watcher is a strong card, but it can be countered by cards like Detain, and the Obliterate ability.

If we wait it out, we will probably see a drop in play. Champions usually get overplayed when they are first released, and then it evens ou

What kind of help are you looking for?

This is the deck I’m currently testing. When you lose it can be rough, but when you win it is quick and brutal.

This is my current Kindred/Nassau deck that I’m running:
I’ve tried them both, although I wasn’t really a fan of Soraka/Kench. I have a Kindred/Nassau deck that I like, but it’s not crazy effectiv

anyone with some interesting ideas?

It is pretty weak to Fast decks like Azir/Irellia, but is faster than a lot of control decks. Im curious what ways there may be to improve it.

Another good pairing is to hit Tahm Kench with Unyielding Spirit. It turns him into a really annoying opponent
