Posting in this thread because I managed to secure most of the cards for this expansion but haven't had too much time to actually build decks and experiment! This looks like a ton of fun Janusi!
You guys are killing it with all the positivity! I'm still on that Whizbang grind and the number of druids has dropped off considerably since I first posted - now I'm seeing a little bit of everything. I can't wait to get some down time one of these evenings this week to fumble around with my collection!
Searched around but didn't find the info I was looking for. I recall reading that Whizbang the Wonderful will update as new recipes update through the years. Does that hold true for Zayle, Shadow Cloak? The Zayle decks are rather limited and lackey-based, so I'm curious if we'll get new ones for this current expansion, or for expansions where lackeys are added. Does anyone know?
I definitely agree with the consensus that these types of streams kill the hype - additionally, I wouldn't/don't watch any of these streamers anyway. Now, if it was Kripp or Thjis...... well, that's a different story!
Right now, my favorite card looks to be Untapped Potential; in conjunction with heal druid and trying to make a Lucentbark deck competitive! The power level of some of the released cards could potentially be worrying, but that's the fun of new expansions!
OP: cool thread - it was fun to read through so far! I got mine because I used to build up 80's Japanese sports cars around the same time that the Fast & Furious franchise started (I'm forty this year). I was building an S13 Silvia here, stateside, and when I was doing the JDM front end conversion, I replaced the factory battery and battery support brackets with a much smaller unit and held it in place with......... metal bookends from Walmart. My friend Mike never let me live it down and I've been going by "bookends" or "BookendS" ever since!
Yikes, well:
Not the best haul, but the dust will definitely be put to good use!

Started off at rank 20 and my first 10 opponents were: 7 quest druids, 1 quest warlock, 1 highlander hunter, 1 highlander mage
I'm only playing Whizbang until I get the opportunity to sit down and do some home brew deck building. How does it look for everyone else??
There must be something wrong with the direct messaging system here on OoC because I haven't received my winning notification yet!
How many fedoras do you own?

^^^^ this - man I loved Dragoncaller Alanna, big spell mage. Hot damn.
Agreed!! I've been playing rush/bomb warrior and really like the pacing of it!

I think revealing all of the cards implies that you'll see the priest cards, too.....
Very cool to see the work which goes into card art - I would love to see how they include the additional steps for golden animations as well!
