For what i know Blizzard developed Sneed as rare merc , than before update they changed it to epic , they changed gem color but forget or no time to clientside client interaction , at first infact Sneed was craftable for 100 coins and server was confirming the craft, then someone reported it on reddit and Blizzard lurkers noticed it so they fast serverside patched , but they cant clientside patch without game update.
So when you craft for 100 now , client side register it and send it to blizzard server who replies NOPE!
- dormant and divine shield minions dont work , minions have to take damage. ( dormant fixed november 9 i dont know divine shield or other immune interactions)
- i used Glide to send minions to deck while searching for the spell Proving Grounds , plus helps keep enemy low on cards if outcasted.

- you can do this in a meta deck while ranking , so i moved it to last quest to do while playng good decks.

- yeah bugged , stay low on beasts number so more options to find it eary and have extra copies with Selective Breeder, Devouring Swarm to get extra copies , bouncers , Carrion Studies for change of extra copy.

yes , they play questline reward and dont draw shard same turn , i then use Illucia , i got enemy deck and cards ,( Polket , Vendor , LH , Thalnos ) are now on enemy hand and i cant use them.
Yeah i can find those cards in opponend deck if im very luck , but that not explains why i put this cards on my deck recipe if i have to find them on the enemy hand.

The simplest way to do this is by waiting until they play the questline reward, then on your turn playing Mindrender Illucia + Lorekeeper Polkelt + Prize Vendor or any 'draw a card' effect like a Loot Hoarder or Bloodmage Thalnos deathrattle. Note that tutor effects of any kind ignore deck order, although they do not change Polkelt's ordering of the deck. This will of course only work if your opponent doesn't draw the shard the same turn they play their questline reward. Yeah the priest one needs a discussion .. i done it with direct spell damage Bash and Eviscerate
Did it work with stealed weapons , enemy minions put in board to do lethal damage? other mechanics ( deathrattle damage , etc. )

- without quest you can do it discounting spells and cards , Aegwynn, the Guardian and Faceless Manipulator may help placing a +4 spell dmg on lowcost minion.

- there are different 1 mana discovers , Wandmaker , Cobalt Spellkin or general discovers like , Entrapped Sorceress if you have quest , Venomous Scorpid , Steward of Scrolls

- without the card , Deeprun Engineer help discover it , usually for big cards i use hunter Resizing Pouch , Youthful Brewmaster can be a bouncer of Goliath, Sneed's Masterpiece

This combo can work only with King Togwaggle not with Mindrender Illucia

It's not total true, it's 180 degree but you get a mirrored board ..
