Rally works wonders in way more than just elusives. My Lucian sacrifice deck gets free rallies constantly. My yasuo Kat deck will attack three times in one turn. Elusive or quick attack, anyone who depends on attack to gain the edge rally is amazing.

Shredders too expensive imo to really rear its head in meta.

Well SU does enable an OTK, where as shadowshift has the added caveat of dodging spells.I forget the name of the card, but the 1/2 that gains 2/0 with barriers, if shen and her attack, shen's unblocked but shes blocked, SU to give her a clear lane of attack.

It seems they just want drain to work that way. It deals 3 damage. And also has the effect of healing your nexus for 3. They do not depend on each other.

If I hit a 1/1 with grasp, my nexus heals for 3.

I think a kill card should hit through barrier, we don't need circles of protection.

I agree with your point on overwhelm.

I try to avoid Champions that need a lot of support -- unless I know that specific kind of support is frequently offered in the buckets for that region.

For example, even though Fiora absolutely requires support, you know Demacia will offer you plenty of combat buffs.

On the other hand, you would have a hard time convincing me to pick Shen, as Barrier is not super easy to come by.

I found when I picked shen/fiora I had access to a massive amount of barriers. But that was the one time the champ pool worked out that way for me.

Greenland duo is the main strength of elusives imo. And more and more people know not to let that card stay on the field for any length of time.

Personally I would recommend pairing ionia with champs offered that you want to play with. Zed grants a lot of early/mid game presence. Kharma works out really well in anivia enlight rush decks. Yasuo pairs well with kat in a stun/recall deck. The problem is the RNG of the champ pool itself I find, but either way its fun, and if you don't have the perfect deck, chances are the other guy doesn't either.

And I would second the consider every trade carefully. Some of those are just bad.

Detain always super punishes me anytime I run a buffing braum deck.

Its a great removal card imo.

I don't really see Karma fits since you don't have any spell that you really want to duplicate (like direct damage to the Nexus or other single target shots).

Ive run a similar deck in exp and had a lot of fun/luck with it. Only got knocked out by an aggro ezreal/teemo deck since the draft didn't give me enough control. Was also a blast to have 5 anivias off one dusk and dawn.
