Not sure what DH you’ve been seeing at your rank, but for me, DH hardly ever runs into empty hand, and by no means by turn 5.
For that you need to play 7 cards for a total of 10 mana. Which in best case scenario would mean 1drop, 2drop, 3drop followed by 4 1drops. That is a really, really tall order with current DH build
If you get high value from a stolen Combustion, that means opponent positioned his weakest minion in the middle, which IS proper positioning against a rogue, as chances are still higher you have betrayal than combustion.
Well, goldens are worth 4 times the dust, so if you’re thinking pure dust value, the bundle of 6 golden packs equals 24 regular packs, and in that sense, it’s a good deal. Of course that doesn’t factor in those few percent chance of getting a golden in a regular pack, but not enough to tip the scales. From a pure dust point of view, it’s a good dea
Reverse situation for me. Since the new rank system only requires 15 stars from last rank floor, instead of the old 25, it is a hell of a lot easier to hit legend. Therefore I did the push with random meme decks. Now at legend, I’m playing full time DH (3 different types) to work on the portrait.
DH is strong, even deserves the fine tuning it is getting, but don’t be fooled, you’re all hitting legend because of the new system, not due to some incredibly oppressive deck. There has never been this many legends so early in a season before.
The sheer popularity of DH at last rank floor even makes it possible to completel tech against and breeze to legend that way, so let’s not pretend DH is a necessary evil to hit legend. The new outcast mechanic is fantastic, and really rewards players for thinking ahead and planning their turns.
Not a good balance at all right now to me. Feels very rushed. Sure that might be fine for people who just play to rush ladder, but a lot less fun to play like this for us who just want to enjoy the game
I started playing runeterra for a couple of weeks and almost half the games i play are having connection issues. I already tested the internet several times to make sure it's not my problem and i wanted to know if you guys are having the same trouble. I really liked the game but it's impossible to enjoy it. I'm not going to play it anymore and if you are having the same problem i recommend sending a complaint because i'm sick of these triple A companies doing a half-ass job. If there is something i can about this, please come talk o me,
Same reason I stopped, you’re not alone.
I’m sure they will work it out along the way, but not intending to spend the time waiting for that
Though the pedantic part of me wants to point out you didn't work for Blizzard "literally, my whole adult life" unless where you live doesn't consider you an adult at 18. I hate myself - dunno why I'm like that :P
....And the pedantic part of me wants to point outthat he didn’t write that ;)
He wrote blizzard has been a huge part of his entire adult life, not that he worked for them his entire adult life.
Or you know, Monty Python where the reference is from :
Matteo29 has an even better aggro DH deck, if that’s your thing ;
I have been farming a lot of DH games for portrait, and I am not seeing the same patterns as you Jaypee.
All 3 decks have been mostly played at top1000 legend, 2 in standard but the Odd deck in wild. Data sets are: 158+239+109 games.
Standard fast tempo DH:

That can actually not really happen.

Sounds like you need a new device more than anything.
performance on the 2 seem quite similar, so if you can’t run HS, don’t expect to be able to run LoR.
Personally I pla HS exclusively on mobile devices with zero issues
I would like to put in these 3 brothers among the most famous:
Archimonde, Kil’jaeden and Velen!
certainly among the most influential in all the lore

Favorite moment:
Would have to be Hunterace v. Viper finale. That game has gone down in history, and watching that live was a monumental experience.
HS Future
The battlegrounds blew my mind, and I’m really excited to see where they will take that game mode
