Eventually, there will be Diamond Cards for old expansions too.
Obtaining an older expansion Diamond Card might be achieved by collecting 25 Legendary cards from that expansion. This is not set in stone yet.
It may be worth getting the achievment. Right now they are thinking 25 legendary cards is enough. If they change their mind though the full collection achievment may be nice back up.
If you've been looking around you've noticed there has been a lot of bugs since the last patch, i myself usually go under the radar and don't get any of these bugs coincidentally when this usually happens, but this time i didn't get so lucky. I got a complete copy of the undisenchantable demon hunter set.
Every card they gave for free for demon hunter that they won't let you disenchant, i have double now. And it's literally twice as annoying that i can't disenchant these cards now.
There's even more hilarious bugs where if you use a shaman skin for your hero you can get spell damage totem again, literally pay to win lol. And cards that interact with basic totems don't work with the new shaman hero power totem.
Do you think these bugs will be fixed by the 30th when FiTB comes out? They usually fix these things pretty quick, but i don't know there seems to be an awful lot of things to fix in just 3 days time to me.
I feel like classic is what people's main complaint about wild has been for a while, there will quickly become a set in stone meta of decks that everyone will play, cough cough secret mage, rez priest, maly druid. Except with wild it's set because the hearthstone team would rather balance around standard and leave wild alone, which i think is a mistep. But for classic mode, they literally can't change it. So the set in stone meta of classic mode this month will be the same 4 years later. I think the mode would have worked better as a recurring tavern brawl every month, and not it's own game mode where you have to craft cards for it.
I don't mean to suggest that you'll always have the perfect combo, but rather to point out that Rancor has a lot of synergy with Warrior. If you're just using it as a basic Consecration effect, you're probably using it wrong. It has self-harm synergies, it synergizes with a lot of other AOE type effects that a Frenzy Warrior is likely to play, and it gains you armor (which in turn has other synergies like Shield Slam. You're ignoring all of that.
It gains you armor if it kills a minion which it wont, it synergies with frenzy but wont see play for that when whirlwind exists and we all know how well enrage warrior was already. And if you dont just use it as consecration you set up a 2 turn board clear there are so many ways for the enemy to buff their board so it's useless lol
"You are wrong because 4 mana deal 2 damage to all minions is good because you can pair it with another card to make it work"
Even pointing out that paladin has libram of justice+consecration which most of the time is 1 or zero mana. Imagine if flamestrike made you discard a card to deal 4 damage aoe instead of 2.
I think the right way to say this is more like "Imagine Flamestrike made you discard a card to simply destroy all enemy minions" and frankly, that's a deal I'd absolutely make, particularly if you toss in something like 10 or so armor.
Because you're always going to have barov. Because you will always have this combo exactly when you need it every game. That's what makes me wrong.

So maybe it's because it's 5 AM, but i'm going to go on a rant for a bit.
Four mana. Deal 2 damage.
With the release of the long awaited forged in the barrens warrior got a new AOE. It is essentially, in a vacuum, the same old same old, been in the game forever, hasn't changed since classic hearthstone with CONSECRATION, 4 mana deal 2 damage AOE.
And it got my noggin joggin, you could say. It makes you think doesn't it. In the same expansion we see cards like Paralytic Poison, Silverleaf Poison, cards that would NEVER have been made and have completely showed the hypocrisy of the leeching poison nerfs YET AGAIN. Warrior gets 4 mana deal 2 damage AOE.
I don't know if you've played hearthstone lately, but no one plays Bloodfen Raptor anymore. On turn 4, deal 2 to everything will not just not do anything, but it will make the situation seem more hopeless for you, the next few turns when you proceed to lose.
I was hearing they would remove brawl from warrior's classic set. And i had hoped to god they didn't. Because it's literally the only thing they have.
they print voracious reader for aggro, they print ticketus for aggro. And they give you 4 mana deal 2 damage AOE. Why?
The expansion is here guys look what the other kids got.
And here's what you get timmy. Try not being you, maybe if you only played the game on an Iphone like the aggro players you'd get nice things too.
All free legendaries should be able to be disenchanted for full value.
(not counting the "try it out" legendaries like Silas Darkmoon or Shadow Hunter Vol'jin, but the random ones they give you at the start of the expansion)
What my suggestion of making rez effects was basically skyrim rez effects. Where they can be resurrected one time, and then after that they turn to dust when they die. Making them not being able to be resurrected again.
In order for this to see play, or any deck with kill your own deck warlock to see play, warlock needs a way to not just die to fatigue. Will this be the expansion we get the infinite deck idea thats always been going around? I hope so. Blowing up your own deck just to have alternate ways to shuffle more things in there always exists with rogue, i don't think it wouldn't be a thing in warlock.
The wording on these secret cards always matters. I don't know why they refuse to put it as "play a secret" i don't think it would be that oppressive swinging with this and buffing a secret keeper by 1/1
Only diamond card I want is gonk

Beats nothing....

But i think a better nerf to rez priest is giving convincing infiltrator "battlecry gain taunt" instead of taunt initially.
I made a post about this a long time ago.

If you play Razormane Battleguard with 2 Strongman in hand, and then Celestial Alignment would it corrupt the Strongman?
Have all the cards been revealed? don't we normally get a card dump after the last stream?
This is pretty cool actually.
I don't think i would call a class that can just vomit cards every turn, and point face, with zero repercussions "a class with no win conditions"
Cariel Roame was mentioned because it reduces the cost of holy spells. I assume, just like Reckoning, all secrets will be holy spells.
some archetypes are allowed to be annoying YPN because they don't annoy people that play on iphones.
