Anyone think there’s any significance to the snow? They were last in a desert area which can be cold, was more of your stereotypical hot desert. This time out the window was snow, as well as you can see the characters bundled up for warmth. This could just be because it’s a December launch? Or is there a more snowy location for this next expansion
I personally despise Garrosh as a character And wish they’d add one of a million other horde warriors as an option. Tauren warrior would be preferred, but Garrosh is the lamest person to represent the warrior class... how do you have amazing peeps like Maldivian, Jaina, Uther, Thrall, Guldan, then it’s like “oh you can have this bum” at the very least give us Grommash instead...
King Gordok would make for a great expansion piece along with other Ogres.
Quel'Serrar Quest line (Foror’s Compendium of Dragon Slaying) could make for a great Warrior Quest. Something like Gain X Armor which then summons Onyxia for your opponent. This Onyxia could have deathratfle: give you opponent blade of Quel’Serrar.
I stopped playing WoW long ago and settled down to have a family. Recently, my oldest has resparked my interest in WoW so we started playin, here and there (maybe 20 hours over last 3 months). I find it fun to introduce him to the world as he already plays Hearthstone with me.
I also miss much of the original content that Vanilla WoW had to offer, including the Quest chain for things like the Blade of Quel’Serrar. Which involved both Dire Maul, and Onyxia. I love Hearthstone mostly for its WoW lore, and the more they get away from the wealth of that lore the less inclined I am to spend money or even play. I understand it’s easier creating new content, but that’s not why I started, and likely not why I would stay.
TLDR
Dire Maul with Ogre expansion would be amazing.
Darkmoon faire has some fun flavor for a card game.
Alterac valley could make for a cool brawl concept.
While not my favorite Scarlet Crusade could make for a good expansion.
Lastly, HS expansions in my opinion do not need to tie together in HS lore.
I play primarily on mobile, so it could be something that is more obvious on desktop. Which I haven’t played on since launch. But still I’m sure the number of people who play only mobile or play both, should be enough for them to fix this
Anyone else noticed that the reborn shield (active) on a minion who has been frozen is confusing? I had two reborn minions next to each other, missed that’s one had been frozen and didn’t notice it until I tried to attack. Then I could see the animation was slightly different, but not clear like most animations.
My favorite card so far is Desert Obelisk it’s such a fun unique twist on the typical minion concept. Like Blackhowl Gunspire, but in my opinion way better and more fun!
So taunts to keep health/armor as high as possible so you can smash minions/face with your face! Brilliant! Wondering if this actually might work out well with that horrible Lesser Mithril Spellstone
I’m excited to see Murloc paladin, make a comeback. I love playing Arthas portrait and pretending after being defeated as the Lich King he gave up and decided to become King of the Murlocs.
with that said I really wish Paladin could get some better Murlocs. Right now Shaman has some AMAZING murlocs in standard, and even more in Wild. Paladin only has 1 good class murloc and it’s wild. (Not talking about spells)
umm Linecracker and bees is a OTK by itself in standard requiring only 2 cards (10 mana) and the Linecracker to simply survive one turn and go face.... I didn’t think Overkill worked unless you attacked with that’s minion though.
Starts with 5 attack, 1st bee 10 attack, 2nd bee 20 attack, 3rd bee 40 attack, last bee 80 attack. Now go face
edit: sorry I just realized it’s more of a 2 turn kill since you need another turn to go face. Still your opponent will need to keep any removal/silence they have just fo Linecracker.
I have no doubt that the next exp won’t launch till late Aug. Between the latest mechs change, now the new classic cards, and the build up to the expansion, I think there’s just enough juice to keep people playing till end of August. With that said, midsummer fire festival would really light the community up and keep everyone content until next Exp launch
The Thunder King shaman hero pretty much says it must be Uldum. All the other clues already point to Uldum, now reading about the Tol’vir (from uldum) and their connection to the thunder king. Could be great, but Ulduar would be amaze balls. Some day.
Since Witchwood, yes I feel like they have avoided well known areas of Azeroth to make their jobs easier. Stranglethorn which is a large area but well known, has RR, and we also got Boomsday from netherstorm, again big area but not prominent. Both a little more notable to the world than the flop of the WW story. In RR they also made a big play to Warcraft lore by using Zul’Jinn as a hero card. Now ROS they have stolen Dalaran, this is a HUGE move in Warcraft lore, they introduced cards for Khadgar, and Kalecgos and if the deathwing part is at all true, I can’t see them making up some lame area no one goes or barely sees in WoW. Dalaran heist alone is too large of a move to then go with some lame no one cares zone next
Flux, if you need some help on the code end (full stack Engineer here with years of web and application dev). I’d be happy to be of service. I love the new site compared to the Pwn, I know it’s still playing catch up in some ways, but I really prefer the sleeker look compared to the over saturated one

loved that Quest chain/blad

anyone remember Arathi Highlands? Random thought

Hero Power, 2 mana “Summon Huffer. Face is the place”

Are all classes getting a quest? And if so this sounds like new warrior quest will revolve around taunt or minions taking damage
Will Highkeeper Ra be generated by cards like [Hearthstone Card (Conjurer’s calling?) Not Found]

Raging Worgen T2 (w/ coin) or T3, and Inner Rage + Bloodsworn Mercenary next turn. Pretty tough for opponent to deal with early

This sounds more like possibly the adventure solo content maybe? Makes sense if Dalaran is crashing into BR
