Imperator Thaurissan with Mechathun in your Hand--> empty your Deck-->Turn 10 Mechathun then Plague of Flames --> Win
Uuuh, what...? There's already a reliable combo with Bloodbloom and Cataclysm that doesn't require you to empty your hand. Also if you wanna do what you described you could already use one of the other 1-mana spells that destroy a minion.
I like how the devs are finally making use of the sleep mechanic (I have seen this being done in fan-made cards). The card is bad though, because for +1/+1 stats over a vanilla statted body you might get a minion, which won't attack for 2 or more turns and you will lose tempo because of it. This is why I have a hard time seeing this being used even in arena.
For sure not a very good minion, on average it will probably not do more than 3 damage before dying for the price of4 mana.
I still think it's a pretty interesting experiment and even if I lost interest in playing the brawl by now I'm looking forward to seeing if it will still be the same deck plaguing the brawl at the end of the week or if some other deck will take over.
I don't get the flavor of this card. Why has a frightened flunky taunt himself? It makes sense, that he discoveres a taunt. But he can't really taunt himself, if he is frightened...
Completely agree, nothing about this art says 'taunt'. Usually there's some visual cue like a really big strong looking character or someone holding a shield or something that suggests that they'd stand in your way but this guy looks like he just wants to avoid confrontation and would be more likely to have stealth than taunt.
Sorry, but 18 deck slots is all the average HS player can take, any more and they'll be really confused. Even 18 is a bit of a stretch, many players are not aware of numbers beyond what they can count on their fingers.
Not sure why people are downvoting you. The excuse Blizzard gave for why there are not more deckslots is literally that it is too confusing for new players
If your UI is so garbage that players are confused, maybe you should work on that instead of insulting your playerbase as an excuse
Also if that's the reason I think the solution is pretty easy; just give it a progression requirement, like unlock a golden hero or reach lvl 60 with a hero or whatever they think would be the appropriate experience level to not get "confused".

I agree, a neutral minion with "Battlecry: Destroy all duplicate cards in your deck." is my prediction, if they actually care about making highlander work in standard. Which I assume, they do.
What about “... in both players decks”
Heh, I thought about that too, but it feels a bit too crazy for a neutral card. Sounds more like some very expensive Warlock card.

Most likely just a base copy of the minion will be summoned.
Looking pretty nice. Might put this in my wild taunt druid deck.
*in cliché robot voice* "How long can this go on?"
Really nice looking card, will definitely see play.
Sounds pretty terrible but I'm sure you could get it off every once in a blue moon.
Already got the pre-order, sadly. But cool of Blizzard to do this.

Well that's kind of a new mechanic. Interesting.

I'm also on eu and see it everywhere.
Mercenaries 14 is the deck, and yeah it's pretty insane. Pirate warrior on steroids basically.

Zoinks!
Totem Golem
Looks pretty insane and an autoinclude in wild secret mage.

Well 5 of these and 2 Drakkari Enchanter is like 75 damage. I guess that could be worth exploring at least.
Edit: Nvm looks like the Enchanters don't stack.
