Am i the only one who plays Maokai for his "toss + summon a minion with challenger" rather than the "destroy your opponent's deck?
I mean, yes it's cool to destroy it and win that way; but when i do it i don't try to make him draw his last 4 cards as soon as possible, i just wait. I think you can even play an ephemeral deck with hecarim + maokai, where maokai support hecarim and provides also a 2nd win condition
Expedition: round 7. During the trade, this happened:
I didn't have the card in the deck and it offers me to change it for something else. What am i supposed to do? I don't want the 8 spell, but at the same time i want the 5 mana minion (i have it already in my deck).
I will skip it, because i don't want to take a risk in trading MY 5 minion for the 8 spell (maybe they were placed in the wrong order)
EDIT: i clicked on the trade button, then click it again and now it shows me the correct placement: the real offer was MY 5 drop for the 8 spell. I noticed it because i wanted to accept the second offer, and i found out that it was bugged as well: the real offer was MY 6 mana spell for HIS 3 mana spell.
Moral of the story: pay attention during your expedition
I need some help about some interactions that i am not sure i know how they works:
1) nautilus will copy all the units that i have tossed (no spells) that cost 4+ If i use "lure of dephts", "the beast below" will be discounted to 3: will it be copied by nautilus? An enemy "recalled" my 3 mana "te beast below" and it returned to my hand as a 4 cost, so i just wonder if nautilus do the same.
2) overgrown snapvine: why does it have so many attached cards? is it just a meme or is there a reason behind it?
I thought that "exact copies" means with the same stats, but it looks like it doesn't consider buffs/debuffs.
Is it a graphic bug? My opponent didn't even attack with these 3/3, so maybe they had 0 attack? Or is it working as intended and it's correct that they are 3/3?
To all who plan to go for Nautilus i gonna tell you that all Nautilus decks that i faced so far were a complete trash piles of of big greedy creatures that cant defend the nexus, are unreliable removal (Devourer of the Depths yes you sir) and do not even win the game when you get to the depts because it still goes like heimer turrets > Monsters.
I know I wont stop you from crafting Nautilus and the deck around him i just want to warn you guys that he proably wont be good.
Maokai however is preety strong and especially with Twisted Fate you easyly can kill the opponent the turn Maokai levels up, stealing the rest of the opponent's deck.
However be aware of the fact that if you draw from the empty deck of the opponent YOU are going to loose because it doesnt matter from which cardless deck you drew
So it's more vulnerable than i thought! Do yo think it will be a good addition to a fiora deck? It's also a fast spell, which may be a good way to give a better "barrier" during a fight.
Hi, i just want to hear your opinion about what a new player should do.
I started playing recently and i have levelled up some regions: 1) shadow isle 2) piltover 3) demacia 4) frejlord. I didn't complete them, they are in the range of 9-13 over 20 levels.
What is it better to do? Level up all regions one by one completely (so 0 to 20 then switch) or is it correct to do what i am doing? What is the minimum level to reach in a region before switching to another?
Agree. They could balance elusive in two ways, imo:
1) elusive lasts 1 turn (like barrier)
2) units with elusive can't be buffed
I lost a game where my opponent played the 3 mana 2/2 elusive and buffed it to a 5 attack unit. With 3 attack i couldn't counter it and when i drew a spell to kill it... deny!
If it remains a 2/2 it would still be anoying but at least won't kill you in they first part of the game
Token druid won't play this: he has plenty of spells and battlecry minions to summon tokens, so there is no benefit in playing this card in that type of deck.
Maybe in aggro druid, which doesn't exist, but who knows

I just found this card: Unyielding spirit.
I am not sure if I understood it correctly, but basically, the minion i choose will never ever die forever?
So i can use it on Fiora and she will never die (attack, removal, spell) unless someone uses purify?

I think that "split ALL the armor between both players equally" would have been a better tech card.
This is just too good to be played against an heavy-armor deck. And it's also a 5 mana 5/5, not bad

It's pretty good but also pretty boring. I prefer to craft an unique legendary, like the new alexstraza or kronx
