The world is an insanely vast, complex, and diverse place, and to live your life making a fuss over the gender of someone playing a video is one of the worst ways to waste your short time here. We already have to deal with general society trying to shove us into a category of loners, losers, lonely virgin nerds playing with kids toys, we don’t need them to latch onto this trait as the core of what gamers are. Grow up, play a game you like, leave your toxic bullshit in the toilet.
And to the women out there trying to play in this toxic environment I sincerely empathize with you. I’m a father of a daughter who loves video games, and I’m hoping that when she’s old enough to get into the community of gaming and multiplayer games that there has been a shift in the environment for her. I want this for all women now, and the future gamers. We can fix this.
I wish they’d make class packs a thing. Way better for those of us not dropping hundreds of dollars on the game who want to just work on a class or two.
The rotating mixed sets were the best thing for arena. At least for me it’s when I played it the most. I wonder if this means we’re going to get a similar format for constructed play. Rotation of select sets every couple months. I’d play the heck out of that.
Hey fam this isn’t about the article but had a question regarding the starter bundle. Do the cards just appear in your collection when you buy it or do you have to open a chest or something? I notice some of the cards are there in my collectionsbut there are a few missing I didn’t check to see if I had those cards before purchasing, and if it’s a bug and I am supposed to have those cards then I’ll send a ticket to support. My favorite moment this past year was all the in between content. From the new single player to the card changes it felt like there was always something new to try out. Also battlegrounds is really great!
What I’m hoping for this year is that they expand on this idea of in between content. Maybe introduce a more limited format, more heroic brawls, even the adventures like they’re doing with the dragons. Weet woo
Question about this brawl; Maybe I’m just not thinking how certain auto summoning cards work, but things like recruit always plop the minion on the right side correct? Like if there are a few minions on my side and I recruit it drops it to the right side of the minions. Even on the enemies board side it summons you the right. But I had a game where my opponent kept summoning random minions and they’d drop on the right side, then when the minions rotated they were immediately given to me since the minions all rotated clockwise. But when I summon random minions they spawn to the furthest right side of my board, and the left most minion would instead rotate to the enemies board. My opponent conceded after this. I found it odd and really unfair.
I’m honestly glad they did this today. It feels thought out, feels like a right response, better than not saying anything or waiting passed the weekend. Took a bit longer than I’d hoped for, but I understand where they are coming from. It doesn’t matter who the person was or what political platform they were pushing, esports should be kept to the sport and is not required to be a political platform. They could that on their own personal streams or social media’s. Still a bit of a black eye on the blizzard history. This will not be forgotten.

This shaman deck is pretty damn strong. Went 8-1 with it. The one loss was against a mirror match.
