this has got to be their shortest reveal season yet. it's only been a week and a half
but then it's like 2 weeks for the actual game to come out so...
Honestly, I like it. They didnt drag anything out for weeks and weeks. Its been a good flow of information and then suddenly....just release the dam. My only wish would be for them to have the reveal this Wed and the actual release sometime next week. Cant complain about the release being the week after though....not at all.
It should mean every pack you open is just that much better. If you are starving for commons and rares still, like when you open your first 50 packs or so, it just means you are guaranteed something you didnt have. The dupe protection is a godsend....esp for F2P. I think you need to view your previous experience with pack opening differently since this kind of protection has never been done before in HS aside from legendaries.
I mean yeah it is all upsides and I am glad to not have to worry about opening a third epic. But this isn't the huge economy change I thought we would get. It is good, but I just don't think it is enough to make the game more accessible to F2P players.
If this change doesnt do it for ya, what are you looking for exactly? I open the mega bundle packs + whatever packs from gold I had saved so typically between 30-40 packs on top of that. I end up short some rares and a handful of good epics which leaves me pissy/hesitant about crafting those good rares/epics I didnt get. This new system prevents that. I cant imagine the frustration for F2P players that open a third of what I do and find huge gaps in their collection.
Battlecry: Cast Magic Bomb on an enemy minion. At the start of your next turn, they explode.
Magic Bomb: If this minion explodes, it dies and deals 5 damage to all your other minions.
This is an awesome one. May need slight tweaking with the numbers but the lack of text space on cards to explain mechanics is a serious limitation of the game.
It sounds like OP needs more taunts in his deck and needs to be mindful of being below ~10 HP. Also, according to HSReplay, Leeroy is in ~44% of all decks. If you are being this paranoid about him, you need to just assume they have em and take the necessary precautions. Otherwise, your entire post just comes off as you being unprepared. Go back to the salty threads where you can blow steam off.
Dude. You sound like you are always prepared for him and never get crushed by him (good for you then but I doubt it). Isn't it just boring? Being like "fuck, Leeroy incoming, and there is nothing I could do to prevent it". Yes it is.
Also, you sound like you never got 16+ to face out of nowhere, from Warriors, Rogues etc. So your below 10 argument is nowhere near the truth.
My post is not about salt, but I'm sure you know better. I don't mind losing, those days are way behind me. It's a complaint about how boring it is to lose to the same dude for 6 years.
Everyone who has played the game has lost to a Leeroy finisher. It's part of the game. I did 14 games yesterday from 14 --> 10 and didnt see a single Leeroy.
The days of 16+ to the face are very few and far between. Maybe it's different on EU vs NA but I just dont see that combo much these days. I say ~10 because if I get slammed in the face, it's to one Leeroy and 1 other buff or dmg spell I didnt see coming.
Your post is definitely about salt. You dont like em....so you post the hate. It's clear. Move it to the Salt threads dedicated for this stuff.

You don't care about it when you're doing fine, but when you're on the short end facing the same two opponents over and over again feels miserable. I remember a run in which I faced Tirion literally every odd turn until I eventually died.
Now we'll have a tad more diversity.
This is one of the reasons why I've avoided BGs since December. Time to get back in!
Tried to delete this but to no avail. It seems the deck is invalid because there are waaaaay too many friggin cards in the deck. There's probably over 40 cards for some reason.
So I guess the only bug is how could someone create a deck with so many cards?
Not seeing anything other than a 0 mana spell for spell synergies if they become a thing in the future. This is just a possible "building block" for something in the future so not relevant in the foreseeable future.
Seems meh. If it had charge, that would be another story.
gonna be a long time before we see Charge minions off tokens. There arent any in Standard expansions including the upcoming expansion. Last one was frozen throne for Paladin - Chillblade Champion.
Good if treant druid is viable, if not, this has great potential at some point in the future
It better hurry. Looking at the expansions that currently push treants....and are rotating out in March/April, Boomsday cards are going to be the biggest losses. From what I can see:
Quest druid approves of this card give a minion health and taunt and summon a 2/2 for 1 Mana. This is pullable from the new dragon since it’s a 1 cost you could use with the new taunt but that’s less important and this has best value with quest.
Darn, now I can't lord over other Priest players who didn't get her last time.
=P at the time, I didnt realize how big of a deal it was to get that skin. Just connect Twitch up with my Prime account and that's all there was to it. Years go by, and it's just been something that would not die in terms of requests to repeat the offer.

If we're going to start getting nitpicky, lets throw in:
"Hall of Fame will get some new denizens. Edwin dodged that faith like a boss."
faith --> fate
I did enjoy the article and the idea behind the recap of the last week or two.

I cant tell if the last line is supposed to be good or bad. =)

no gold option that I see.

This deck here.
im wondering this myself. How are deathrattles affected on board?
edit: I might have my answer HERE
hah! this is too funny. somehow, I feel there's a slight chance they will do something of this nature and nerf something older than the DoD set
this is gonna be dirty if it sticks.

The quality doesnt translate to usefulness. You should know this by now. There are plenty of legendaries to back this claim

Witchwood:
Witchwood Apple
Boomsday:
Dendrologist
Landscaping
Tending Tauren
Mulchmuncher
Rumble:
Treespeaker
I hope Blizz pushes out more treant support the following year. Rise of Shadows and Uldum only had 1 card each:
Garden Gnome
The Forest's Aid
This card? Cobalt Spellkin
What do you cut from the current iteration of quest druid though?
