@Pezman Yes it gives you the Mini versions of Miniaturize cards. So something like the Amateur Puppeteer or Tabletop Roleplayer might just be vanilla 1/1s, unfortunately. I really like the Mech Warrior package, but I'm not a super fan of Botface because it is so random. The list isn't terrible, but I prefer consistency.
If Taunt Warrior cannot find a home in Standard, then I'll take this to Wild and be happy. Fire Plume's Heart is still my favorite Quest, so the more the merrier when it comes to support! Imagine Sing-Along Buddy with that deck :D
The fact that you can now double-up on Auras in the battlefield could allow you to churn out a bunch of stuff much faster - you don't have to wait six turns or whatever for the full value to have come into fruition. Playing an Aura, waiting it out, then playing the other copy took an incredibly long time, so maybe cheating both of these out is a line worth exploring?
Should've cost 3-Mana. "But then it would be power-crept Combustion!" Well...yeah. That's where we are now. Plus Outcast hasn't gotten that much easier to trigger, so the bonus Lifesteal is kept in check already.
Could be incredible if Pirate Rogue gets more support in the second expansion; not impossible, given the hint of beach flavor we were given. As of right now, though, I just don't think it gets there...which could be said of the whole package.
I wonder if the effect is too late in the game - if your opponent has 5/5s or something, then the 3 damage isn't going to help. I certainly wouldn't want to pay the full price for him.
It's a Handbuff card that gets to do something "immediately", before the extra stats are invalidated by the inevitable clear. Dropping two of these you've been buffing all game could be a winning strategy, assuming you can hold out that long.
@Pezman - It's not for Rainbow DK, but for the Blood/Unholy Handbuff package. 2-Mana to summon two 5/4s or better - with Taunt - would be worth it in the mid-game; or at least, that's the hope.
The Reborn on Rainbow Seamstress is kind of wonky, because none of the keywords stick around after she trades in/dies. That said, the more useful effects for a Handbuff minion (Lifesteal, Rush) are thankfully attached to the Runes that want to Handbuff (Blood, Unholy).
Darkthorn Quilter seems awesome for the deck, too. I could see myself playing this archetype...which is more than I can say for a *lot* of the cards in the expansion.
Threads of Despair looks like the DK cousin of Defile: properly set up it could also wipe the board - for 1-Mana less - but it does require some additional checks (the Blood Rune, being able to trade something away to start the chain-reaction, etc.). Being minion-based also means it can interact with Deathrattle, Poisonous, and Lifesteal for extra shenanigans.
Seems fun. It also features a doll vomiting tentacle-threads, which is absolutely horrifying if you think about it lol :/
Some of this stuff seems genuinely terrible. Like a full on step backward from where Hearthstone has progressed to. I don't understand the thought process in their design.
As Regis points out in his review, a card he revealed like 5 years ago, Desert Spear, isn't much different than Remote Control.

Combining this with the Boom Wrench will probably be my favorite play of the expansion.

I imagine it'll be used in some kind of wonky combo, but outside of that I don't expect Jepetto to be seen in a game that often.
I don't believe The Galactic Projection Orb will replay them at a lower slot, but still quite good if that's how you want to build your deck.

Horn of Winter is back in Standard, so this can proc pretty easily assuming you have other Frost spells to continue the chain.

Played the demo - it's fun! Of the regular wholesome Mario variety...only with Peach hehe.
It had Swordfighter Peach and Patisserie Peach in the demo, and I missed one Sparkle Gem per stage because of course I did >_>
I miss The Thousand Year Door - what a great game. Might have to pick up the remaster one day.
I suppose I could download the Princess Peach: Showtime! demo today; haven't gotten around to it yet.

"The Hearthstone characters...they're looking right at me...NURSE!"

Effects like this have carried over in the past, like with the old Raza the Chained. Stands to reason it will again.
