Just pointing out the lack of mechs and murlocs in this year's core set.. Could that mean that we will be getting a bunch in expansions?
I've always liked Elementals and Elemental shaman was one of my fav archetypes with Menacing Nimbus one of my fav cards in it, so that makes me hopeful for some more elemental tools.
This at least makes it easier on the production crew and hopefully the players. Would hate to see another situation similar to what happened to Firebat last year where he was playing late and slept through his checkin time bc they were ahead of where they had been compared to previous weeks.
I like that they are leaving open the option to bring back older cards but perhaps with adjustments where needed.. Sorcerer's Apprentice make a 3/3 for 3 mana for example would be a suggestion that i have.
IMO Tickatus and Y'Shaarj, the Defiler is a real problem. I'm playing at Platinum 5 ranks. about 50% of my games this week have involved 10 of my cards getting burned and there is NOTHING that I can do about it. It is not fun since I mostly like to play midrange and slower decks. I even thought that playing reno to make him disappear might help but remembered that Y'shaarj doesn't care about deaths.. only if a corrupt card was played. Something with the way these 2 interact needs to be changed whether the cost of Tickatus, the amount of cards it burns or the cost of the corrupt cards that are added back to hand by Y'shaarj. I just see this growing more and more prevalent, particularly after rotation, i predict this will be the most powerful way to play by default.
I actually like foxy fraud as a powerful tool in rogues toolbox.. That will rotate out in a year. Edwin as a classic card has been a problem for years regardless of Foxy Fraud. They seem to plan on removing edwin to the hall of fame, so this gives Foxy/rogue a chance to have some cool combo cards after that.
I'm not a big card back guy. I don't notice them in game... but I don't like this one. Me and Steven A, it looks like.
I wish that you as the player can enjoy your own cardback more often. Getting to choose your awesomecustom back but hardly seeing it is kind of disappointing.
Because i felt that the secret stuff may be too slow.. there are only a handful of reliably useful secrets in my opinion so i only put 6 in the deck. and there are already 4 tudor effects to play them at zero cost (and thin the deck). Overloading the deck with secret synergies seemed kind of pointless (flameward and flackmage do the similar things, though one is easy to play around i agree). I originally had that other stuff in, but decided that the payoff for having more elemental synergies might be worth it. It's a day one guess, and it will definitely change :)

The official page has it linked to a keyword with it still being the one that summons a 6/6 demon
That ice rager buff is gonna be op!
I was hoping they would drop secrets from Paladin

I play Ivory in my lunacy value mage.. fun times.
Honestly seems kind of "plain" to me. Not impressed.
I'm questioning any info that comes from a guy that says Mac n Cheese is not good....
I'm partial to the Ironforge cardback that just recently came out.

I think this was a missed opportunity.. Races seem like a cool theme for a whole expansion.

So, do we get refunds on these? If i'm a standard only player, do you think it worth it to go ahead and disenchant Edwin?
So.. i broke it...i killed the pinata with a poisonous minion early... well.. we had to keep playing but the pinata was invisible

With a name like Glory, i predict a Paladin spell
Any suggestions on where to start?
I wish that they would maybe even give us half the packs from newest expansion.
