Worst case you can dust cards for a better gold to dust ratio than typically found in packs as the article says.
More relevant to the next miniset though - the counter argument is that if you don't buy it you will likely get all the commons and most rares from just packs obtained from end of season, twitch drops etc especially if you are already saving them up. That does come at the expense of being less likely to get cards you need from the released Barrens set though depending on how much of it you already have.

Rather than try to tackle the linear algebra I wrote a program to iterate through the combinations with repetitions looking for a resulting code that had all the same digits.
I wanted to see if possible to use all the boxes, and this sequence works!

*actually if I just set it to try 11 moves, it checks all 12376 possible moves and completes in 0.371 seconds or 30 moves (1947792 possible) takes 150 seconds on my low powered media server box. 100 moves? Write better code and use better PC :) Better yet do it with maths instead.
Well the four classes have 4 Barrens legendaries that give flavor text quotes detailing suspicious information.
The order of cards played doesn't matter though if it did you refer to the order in which they are referred in the flavor text.
After a fair bit of people tanking their rank/MMR trying things in ranked, as this is a game play achievement none of which can be done outside of ranked/duels/arena Celestation tweeted that in fact this achievement was an exception.
We were a bit wrong footed in that he also stated these could be done on mobile, though one of them was harder on mobile but we weren't anywhere near it. Flavor text isn't on mobile though of course you can use a website to see them.
Also many didn't think collection mattered due to another tweet of his which arguably isn't the case for Rogue. Though again you can randomly generate the cards you need.
Then I went to sleep and when I woke up it was all pretty much solved lol.
Well it was a community effort, and for English speakers discord channel trying different things with a shared word document detailing progress/theories etc. I even added to it when we were trying to discover how to even start. Other countries had other collaborative forums.
But it turned out that flavor text of say, Rokara, shows the spells needed. Same for the quotes in Barrens cards added to the other classes we work with here. e.g:
"Tread carefully, but stand tall, and stand together. For strength and honor!" —Rokara
1) Rogue puzzle
I suspect clever algebraic maths or a brute force program was used here. I've mapped the interactions needed (key attack vs box attack and then result on both, for each box attacked it's effect in the other boxes etc) to write a program to iterate through permutations which I might do just for fun even though solution is known.
But probably maths was used as 7 actions = 1.8 billion possible combinations though it's doable.
2) Warrior puzzle
Easy enough to solve yourself
3) Druid puzzle
Pen and paper :) (or multiple bits of paper in my case)
4) Hunter puzzle
I didn't spend time on this because the text was too small and my eyes aren't the best. But someone in the comments seemed to have pretty close by themselves. A logic puzzle after detailing the costs, items + amounts, vendor/seller relationship matrices etc.
I was all set to give it a go, then realized I was gonna struggle with the fine print. Staring at this for hours doesn't seem a good idea for someone with dodgy eyesight like me :)

Someone noticed that game board has candles that pulse with different pattern.
No idea if that's the same for mobile though, and the harder on mobile issue isn't step 1 anyway apparently.

Level 70 - no battlepass.
Should get the level 75 golden epic in about a week or so - then it's just gold gold gold (except for the hero at 100).
Great communication.
Gives us an idea of internal thinking without necessarily committing - and making sure that's clear to all. That's a good thing.
