Didn't Swim say Sunburst was going to be garbage? Pretty sure he said it was garbage. Silverfuse is the only streamer I remember being pro-Sunburst.

Not sure, but it totally sounds like something he _would_ say. I can confirm however his current decklist contains 2x Sunburst 1x Vengeance.

I have mixed feelings towards the spell myself. I would think Vengeance would be better 90% of the time: for just 1 more mana, you guarantee the kill and do it at fast speed. I could see other region combos relying on it more, but it seems really odd to me for anything with SI unless you're also running Leona.

I personally haven't seen anyone attempt to use Singular Will yet, much less success. If I had to guess, though, I'd say some deck that wants a single unit to hit nexus unopposed--I'm thinking maybe a Darius combo with Apprehend follow up?

Btw, does anyone know what's wrong with the labs? Why they closed it for reconstruction?

...It's working for me. Maybe restart your client

Nice, thank you for the ideas. I was expecting some kind of Demacia/Targo Dragon deck though !

Me too!  I honestly gave it the ol' college try, but at the time of drafting this article, I couldn't seem to make Dragons work and I wasn't finding any community decks I felt confident in. Since then, I've seen a few to restore my confidence. My favorite so far has been this one:

Seems like every Encroaching Shadows deck should have Cursed Keeper and The Undying in it, and I don't really understand the Frenzied Skitterer and Barkbeast picks.

Frenzied Skitterer is to help Fearsome units connect--think like an L2 Nocturne without the setup--and Barkbeast will almost always be a 1 mana 3/3 without ES or 5/5 with.

I agree with you that Cursed Keeper is outrageous value post-ES; however my dilemma was activating him pre-ES plus I was uncomfortable including him if he'd be that 100% dependent on the combo. Maybe if I included some Mark of the Isles as an alternative enabler?

The Undying I feel a little more confident rejecting: sure you get re-occurring swings, but he's just not enough pressure, especially for how much you have to pay for him. I've play a lot of that guy over the past month and you really need to sink a few deaths into him before he's anything more than a nuisance.

Miss Fortune is missing in the deckbuilder

Right now, I can see Miss Fortune and add her to to a test decklist. I know there were some technical hiccups with the database today importing all the official card data for the new set, so it might have been a temporary thing now resolved. Let us know if you're still unable to add her.

The Trifarian Assessor nerf hurts my two Noxus/Freljord decks that I've been playing for quite some time, Frostbite Ashe and Sejuani/Vladimir self-harm. I will admit the card draw was pretty good, but I personally didn't think the nerf was super necessary *shrugs* I don't know the meta though so maybe that's just my ignorance talking.

Ashe Noxus was super prevalent at higher levels -- there have been Giant Slayer events were half the contenders were running and succeeding with it. It's problematic when professionals anticipate opposing a specific deck and they think their greatest chance to beat it is to take the 50-50 odds with a mirror match.  :-P  But yeah, I feel you with Vlad. First Crimson Disciple, now this. He just keeps getting caught in the crossfire.

I like it!  Possibly the best dragon deck I've seen.

The only thing I dislike is the 2x Mentor of the Stones: it's so fragile, and you don't have any challengers to protect it besides Screeching Dragons. I'd highly recommend a trick in this slot instead -- specifically, I'm thinking 2x En Garde for the Fury synergy.  I also wouldn't hate changing Solari Soldier with either Solari Shieldbearer (way better stats for just 1 more mana) or Fleetfeather Tracker (more utility for just 1 less HP).

I love this.  One of my favorite things to do during new Hearthstone releases was to queue up with Whizbang the Wonderful (R.I.P.) just to binge-play new cards that I didn't actually own.

I personally haven't encountered much Yasuo at all, but I think in general Ezreal decks are strong against Swain and I'd imagine they'd be strong against Yasuo for similar reasons.

The other archetype that comes to mind is Deep: Jaull Hunters can threaten an early Yasuo well, and once you go deep you can probably throw enough raw stats at the board that everything survives his L2 strikes.  That should start forcing him into card disadvantage until he runs out of gas.

    Good luck!

Was trying to create a nightfall deck that used the warning shots and rex from bilgewater, and came up with this, what do you guys think?

    I like it!

One card you might want to squeeze in is Coral Creatures: he's cheap enough to activate nightfall for a lot of your cards, he generates a free 1 mana spell that you could use to activate nightfall on a subsequent turn, and he has attune which I think this deck will really appreciate -- your curve is really good, but that also means you won't float much spell mana.

I waffled back from Iceborn Legacy to Sumpworks Map under the premise that this wants to be a burn deck, but I'm not 100% sold.  Other considerations:

    • Might turns a bad block into a trade and/or some nexus damage
    • Pack Mentality has similar logic as above
    • Harsh Winds will make 2 units unable to block fearsome, plus some utility
    • Troll Chant like the above but only 1 unit and cheaper
    • Fury of the North
    • Atrocity is fast speed direct nexus damage
    • Darius might just be a 10/6 overwhelm if all goes according to plan
    • Any rally effect, but in particular Katarina, Lucian, and Shunpo
    • En Garde, to either assassinate a trouble backline unit (Ezreal wrecks us) or force bad blocks

For those curious about the 11pm PST update: it seems that the two cards DDaHyoNi revealed simultaneously were intended to be separately, so the Silver Sister effectively "leaked" an hour early.

The only way i can picture a Mistwraith deck working is through Iceborn Legacy
But since Iceborn Legacy is a slow card now, i would not get my hopes up to pull this combo off consistently.

Maybe to Iceborn Legacy?  Here's what I've got so far, but I wonder if Ghost or Might might not just better splashes for their ability to squeeze in some last minute nexus damage.

Interesting read - I just started a week ago and had the same Idea in regard of the Undying.
So far it works well for me through different stages - but there is room for some changes because I am lacking some cards like Ruination
which I have to collect yet. But in generall it is fun to play if the mulligan and the pressure of this deck works for you.

Greatest opponent so far are all the Freljord decks with massive freeze abuse

Have a look - and thanks for the content.
I maybe have a try with the Bilgewater cards.

Your decklist brings back fond memories of when I was starting out and looking for clever ways to fill holes in my collection.  :-)

If you're running SI + Ionia ephemerals, you definitely want to try to incorporate 3x Death Mark -- that's such a strong tempo play, especially if you combo with a Darkwater Scourge.  ...Honestly, for this particular decklist you might want to try just dropping The Undying to just focus on ephemeral synergies; combo decks get inconsistent if they are trying to incorporate too many different elements.  For reference, here's a very similar deck from user Checkct--he uses Kalista for her L2 ability to spawn scourges and The Rekindler, but Zed should be a fine alternative.

With Risen Mists coming out, I was trying to brainstorm how to build around Mistwraiths...which made me realize I didn't know exactly how some things worked out, so I jumped into the client to test them out.  Here are my observations in case anyone is interested:

    • Mist's Call and Chronicler of Ruin on a Mistwraith works exactly like you'd expect: it plus every other Mistwraith goes up +1/+0.
    • The aforementioned also work on Wraithcaller (assuming you hit allegiance). In other words, its allegiance acts like a conditional "when summoned". I don't know if all allegiances work like that; I have a vague memory of it not working for a different card.
    • For both L2 Kalista and The Harrowing, it will not factor in the buff when calculating what is "strongest"--in other words, Mistwraith is just a 2/2 in the rez pool even though it instantly increases when it hits the battlefield. However if either of these effects pulls a 4/3 Wraithcaller--which is obviously a much more achievable target--that will in turn summon a new non-ephemeral Mistwraith similar to how The Rekindler works.
    • If you run out of board space--e.g., The Harrowing created an ephemeral Wraithcaller in your 6th slot, so there's no room for the Mistwraith it summons--your Mistwraith is obliterated, but its brief presence does seem to "count" towards your global buff.

In summary: if you want to make a concerted effort to embiggen your wraiths, I think you are looking to focus on Wraithcallers.

Phase 1: Decide you want to build a Daybreak deck around Leona.

    Phase 2: ?

Phase 3: Play Morning Light with Leona and a bunch of other daybreak units on board, giving them all +2/+2 plus all their individual daybreak effects while simultaneously stunning the opposing board.  Then swing in for lethal.
