Easy. Let people pay for them again. If they really want them, it's money in the bank for Blizzard. I wouldn't buy them, but I'm sure others who are interested would, and I wouldn't begrudge anyone for that.
I think the issue is just one of perspective. You are making some pretty grand comparisons in your argument, in talking about the first man to walk on the moon, and witnessing an ancient civilization. I understand your points, but I think it's good to take a few steps back and look at what we're talking about here. Also, I think Flux has an interesting idea about denoting an original card back in some way, but I respectfully disagree with the implementation simply because I feel like it goes too far into the weeds. That would make sense for some kind of physical item like a comic book or actual cards, but I'd much rather the Hearthstone team stay focused on gameplay issues and other art related endeavors that they already have on their plate, rather than devote resources to that kind of specific cosmetic. But if they are able to do it, cool.
I like the part where you compared receiving a digital card back to traveling back in time and being able to witness the glory and splendor of an ancient civilization. Oh, and Saviors of Uldum is coming, so we get to do both!
Nice, I was going to say good ole Leeroy Jenkins but that Grom combo (Grombo?) is super dirty. Glad to see that you could “wait no longer” to craft him.
She’s just there to steal Archivist Elysiana in control matchups, so I’d say she’s not a key card overall. She tends to be more useful than Elysiana herself since she can refill your hand during other matchups if needed, whereas Elysiana can often be a dead card. With that said, in the absence of Azalina Soulthief, I’d still use Archivist Elysiana or possibly some additional removal like an Omega Devastator.
3 legendaries (Sunkeeper Tarim, Wilfred Fizzlebang, Malorne) and some nice golden goodies. Someday I'll get into Wild, so this was a pretty juicy deal. I know Tarim is good, but no idea about the others, as I just started last year.
I would rather they balance some of the later bosses a bit - especially ones that are ridiculously one sided like facing Haro Setting-Sun with a swarmy deck, or the shenanigans Vas'no can pull off at the start of the match with triple overload + mana advantage.
According to the post about Mike Donais, they apparently are going to nerf Haro Setting-Sun soon. Indeed he's pretty frustrating!
I dusted mine during the nerf period, with the expectation that I'd craft her again sometime later or maybe get her in a pack. She was useful for Control Warrior mirrors, but outside of that I had a similar experience where I just didn't need her. For a time, I put in Azalina Soulthief for the mirrors so that I could just let my opponent bring his Archivist Elysiana to the party, and I could kindly borrow her. But I've since moved on to other decks at the moment.

Beatles reference bruh.
Really nice read, Frosty! And all the speculation looks solid - wouldn’t be surprised if it was right on.

Cool, I just updated the list with that change. Thanks for letting me know and glad it’s going well!
Here here. I too appreciated this feature at the old site. I hereby add my powerfully significant support to this request.
This deserves some entrance music.
It’s almost as if someone is trying to divide us and create two different factions that eternally wage war upon each other.
Perhaps we should drink the blood of Mannoroth? Maybe just a taste?
Thanks for the insight - much appreciated!

Here here! I raise a frosty mug to you, Snailborne.
Your avatar is trippin' me out, Kaptain.
They plan on doing it down the line, but I think that standard site functionality and design is the focus at the moment.

They did you dirty, Flux. We're with you, man.
