Follow up question: how do decks get chosen for the "Hot Decks" list on the main page? I just clicked through the 5 standard decks posted there, and they all have minimal guides and only a few votes each. Personally, I've viewed and commented on a bunch of other people's decks, and that's generally the place I look first.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I was working on the assumption that no one one was even clicking my decks, but several of you are suggesting that people look at them, then leave because I've provided very little content. Makes sense. I also didn't realize I could upvote my own decks (thanks RavenSunHS). I'm not too concerned with the votes (except for the site achievement) but mostly want to engage in discussion. I'll keep all that in mind next time I post a deck. And of course, I'll say it's 100% winrate Rank 1 Legend!
I've created 6 decks here since joining the site, and as far as I can tell, not one of them has been viewed even once. I'm not saying my decks are so amazing that everyone should be upvoting and commenting on them, but I was hoping for at least a little feedback, suggestions, etc. How do you get your decks into the spotlight?
Also, there are achievements related to this, and I love me some achievements.
Depends on how fun the deck is, or could possibly be. If you think it has real potential, keep at it, but definitely refine as you go in response to what you're facing. Sometimes I build some crazy OTK thing, and once I get it to go off a single time, I'm happy and delete it. Other types might have more staying power. Don't let your memes be dreams!
I'm just glad there's no hero attached. I'm a collector, but I try to limit my spending to pre-orders. So I got Mecha Jaraxxus, Lazul and Elise, but skipped the Thunder King. But I want them all. I'm happy to skip this bundle as it has nothing I need.
Is there a way to close a thread? I started this one over 2 months ago, and I'm very pleased with the discussion it generated. At this point, people are just repeating what others have already said, sometimes several times over. I think folks ought to read through the whole thread before posting, but in this case, can we just shut it down? There won't be anything new to say until Blizzard announces any change to Whizbang, if they ever do.
Very interesting to see how different the stats are to an individual's experience. I've won a lot with quest druid, priest and rogue. Haven't seen many warriors. This is ranks 14-10, by the way.
I just looked over the list of Basic and Classic 2-drops (every minion Zephrys might offer with 2 mana left). The apprentice is one of the biggest threats to leave unanswered on the board. Knife Juggler looks like a close second.
Great article! For those who were playing back when these cards came out, it's fun to see how things have changed. Forget about all those crazy double/triple,etc Thaddius plays, just getting an 11/11 down was pretty strong. Compare that to what mages can do on turn 5 now!
Also, has anyone else noticed how often Feugen or Stalagg get offered to you in the tavern on a Dalaran Heist? WTF, they're TERRIBLE on their own.
I love this type of deck. I'll try to make it work, unsuccessfully, for probably half an hour or so, then it will work ONCE. Then I'll delete the deck and move on to something else. And I'll be happy.
Trolden's latest collection has a hilarious bit at the end of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFfQtXAxt5k Dude stacks up over a billion armor (check my math, not my strong suit). And then loses!
Tournaments so soon after a new expansion are interesting to me. I'll be watching to see which decks stand out, as they will likely make up a large part of the meta in the weeks to come. Good to know what to counter, and how!
Tundra Rhino with Giants is totally busted. Check it out:

I don't track games, but this has had a huge winrate so far.
Thanks to whoever went and upvoted all my decks! Surely not a coincidence that this just happened after I opened this thread.

My reason might be totally selfish then. Since I'm the one who started the thread, I get notifications every time someone posts to it.

Congrats dude! I hit this same milestone pretty recently, so I know that good feeling. Now you can play whatever you want!

Dag yo, I just saw Griffior's version: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/decks/6599-double-quest-priest and he says Amara doesn't Activate the Obelisk. Right, because she doesn't "restore" health. Ok, might need to tweak this.
I meant in the four random "enemy" minions Bartender Bob offers you. I often see one of them, never both.

Great point, I hadn't thought about double shuffling with the elekk. I love that combo too.

The 2 wild decks are almost singleton decks. Why not throw in Reno and Kazakus?
