The Tempo gain can only happen turns later, and/or with further Tempo loss if you go for tutored draws: however efficient, draw power costs mana and does nothing on the board.
So it's not just about mana. Or better, it's not just about the mana cost of one single card.
Lei Shen skin is really great. One of the best ones so far, if not the best one entirely.
Ofc i was hoping for more Dwarf heroes (having the only one behind a paywall, and for a class i am unable to like), say Falstad, but i guess you can't make everyone happy with a new skin...
Maybe they should actually release new skins more frequently.
I'd be a Rogue main on paper, and i am fond of Druid and Mage too. Flavor-wise.
But actually i am an Even Shaman main by necessity, since i am completely dumb at piloting Aggro, but i feel confident with Tempo.
Yet, even tho i tend to focus on some classes, and i completely dismiss some others (Warrior, Warlock), i am no one-class player: i periodically feel the need to experiment with different classes/archetypes.
And the same happened with WoW btw, where i used to have a Rogue main, but actually trained a variety of different characters.
As long as this site doesn't have the redirects to spam websites then I'm sold. ;)

As someone who mainly comes here on mobile, this is huge, so thank you. Hearthpwn became nearly unusable on mobiledue to the spam.
I could even bear some ads, say in some small banners or sidebars, but when they become invasive, or even unavoidable redirecting scams as with HearthPwn, well that's unbearable on the long run.

What sort of things lead you to construct the decks that you do?
What are some common strategies and combinations that you really enjoy playing and iterating on?
In the past, which mechanics or interactions really caught your attention and made you want to try them yourself?
Do you prefer building new lists from the ground up, or iterating on existing archetypes?
Has the meta ever influenced you to try building something new to counter it?
When you get an idea, does it typically involve a particular strategy, or do you focus on a card you like to build around?
For me, flavor is king, when homebrewing.
Typically, I start from a theme, as described by some cards (variable amount) that happen to fit the same deck, and have some potential to survive the meta in some deck.
It might be either a brand new concept, an old concept adapted, or the customisation of an existing deck, with the package of cards as above (with further tweaks if necessary).
I never start from current meta. Instead, I try to adjust and tweak my original plan accordingly, sometimes with techs, but rarely with hard-techs, more typically with cards that happen to counter the meta. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
If you want to secure the free run, you stop (for few hours, which should be no big deal for anybody. Hint: it's just a game, not a grinding activity).
Thanks everyone for the feedback! Indeed the Ebonsmith is not worth it, mainly because when I need a weapon, I can't afford the Combo. If the Ebonsmith was tuned as a (2)-cost minion maybe...
I wish I could try Umbra, but I do not have her either.
I made a few tweaks, oriented on reacting early against Aggro/Token more than anything, and slowly overcome them (similarly to how Even Shaman works). I have found the Argent Lance fairly good at that. At least against Aggro Druid.
This is the current iteration of the thing, with Silver Sword instead of Val'anyr (until I decide if I actually want to craft the hammer).
One needs to know the Brawl in order to play it correctly, independently of how good of a player they are.
I made it on second attempt.
I like coop brawls that require setup much more than most of the other brawls.
I wanted something dark and shady, to evoke Rogue, and natural, to evoke Druid. And that's where "Raven" comes from.
Then i wanted a radiant (but still natural) image, to bring balance, and that's the "Sun".
Merging them together, generating some half-poetic oxymoron is meant to evoke the 'magical' power of words (Mage and Priest).

You do have good tools against Aggro, but no draw power to unlock synergies: you'll hardly be able to fend off Aggro, wave by wave (of tokens).
I'm not saying the concept is trash, but I'm pretty sure it needs more refinement to be viable in the meta.
ie. on top of no card draw, you have too many one-ofs.

If you want both, you are being greedy.
I hardly close a day with a loss, even less so with a loss streak.
I'd rather lose more until i win one, than closing the game while already tilted.
That would sound like a declaration of defeat to me, which is unacceptable to my ego.
Instead, winning one last time, even just in Casual, is the minimum sign of hope i need before calling it a day.
Tbh, "well played" on every win is meaningless. Hence it is potentially tilting.
*Well* played should indeed mean your opponent made remarkable plays. Not just average plays until he lost.
