I too have to side with the majority. It's hard to make a fair comparison between misinformation spread on Twitter with this quote-unquote card reveal. Usually misinformation covers important topics which can make a big influence on a community or even an entire country, such as elections, laws and mandates where people's lives will be at stake. Meanwhile Hearthstone is just a video game, whether or not these virtual cards are real won't cause the apocalypse or anything.
Just want to request, is it possible to make an additional post for clarity where the expansion's cards are organized in a clear way? I understand you organized them by flavor but the way the cards were ordered doesn't have a consistent pattern (such as rarity, class or name in alphabetical order) so it's hard to wrap one's head around. (I dunno, I think it's just me.)
Basically Corrupt but it instead triggers when the specified amount of friendly minions die while the card is in your hand. For example, "Infuse: (3)" causes the card to upgrade if 3 friendly minions die.
I watched a YouTube video about the Glugg bug (the fifth test in the video), apparently whenever Glugg gains stats it's stored in a single enchantment which isn't replaced when the effect triggers. If its stats are set after it has gained stats at least once, it won't gain any more of the set stat due to taking precedence over Glugg's enchantment. At least that's how I can interpret the info.
So far half of the Mercenaries' voice actors have been confirmed by Matt London. The rest (Kurtrus, Tavish, Xyrella, Scabbs and Bru'kan) are currently TBA.
Here are the Twitter accounts for the confirmed VAs:
- Guff Runetotem: Fred Tatasciore (@FredTatasciore)
Emotes won't affect the gameplay, so they can easily be ignored. On the other hand, its game of origin (League of Legends) has people that spam the question mark ping if you do something the team doesn't approve of.
Oh, it's not just Hearthstone. Anyone who's been in a popular fandom knows that there's almost always a salty part of the community who does this all the time. Whenever the creators make a decision they don't like, they make complaints and threats, ruining the creators' days. I know this is a serious issue considering it harms the creators' wellbeing, but I've seen this so frequently that for me it's not even surprising anymore.
The Lurker Below's mechanic is kinda weird, since its chain battlecry is programmed to ignore Dormant minions and move on to the next minion in line. Rolling Fireball does this as well.
It's based on Murloc Tidecaller in regular Hearthstone. Tidecaller is common to see in the game (due to being a Classic/Core card and often being seen in murloc decks) that it'd be jarring to just change it for the sake of Battlegrounds. Besides, if it was a 1/3 in the base game murloc decks would be even stronger.
Though I could be taking things too seriously, since after all there's a Majordomo Executus in Battlegrounds different from the one from Blackrock Mountain.
Nice to see that Blizzard is opening up spots for more representation. Remember that in the newest expansion, they made a nonbinary character (Varden Dawngrasp) and invited a trans voice actress (Kayleigh McKee) to voice them.
If you thought that was heartbreaking, wait until you see Lucian and Senna in Legends of Runeterra. You have to literally kill one of them in front of the other, and they become more powerful because of their grief and rage from seeing the love of their life killed. Lucian levels up instantly when he sees Senna die, screaming in anguish as it shows an animation of a couple's love being ripped apart. Of course, LoR (and League of Legends) in general is a mix of emotions, so it's hard to judge by Hearthstone's standards, but it fits the subject.

"Who are you again?"
You know this site isn't Reddit, right?
Wait... didn't they skip the Xyrella hero card's reveal?

Most likely epic to be asked "Who are you again?"

Probably irrelevant, but I am pretty sure that the VA for Ava in the trailer is Lara Jill Miller. I can't unhear it.
I mean, they already did that with the Blitzchung incident. You can see how that turned out.

Apparently this post was invaded by a spambot advertising cannabis. I reported it.
