This with the bonespider egg might create the strongest turn one opener ever without coin. Just difficult in zoo to have 2 mana be the lowest cost in hand

I'm not sure that Zephrys is going to know exactly how to deal with Rattlegore. Keep in mind that in Zephrys' eyes, Rattlegore is a 9 mana 9/9 with deathrattle. Because 9 mana 9/9 is premium stats, his deathrattle is likely to not be evaluated highly. So it's unlikely that Zeph will prioritize things like Hex or Polymorph rather than premium big removal like shadow word death.

As a Priest main Kraziki would get me so excited. Being able to caw at my opponents for BM would be incredible.

I would argue that Rattlegore lines up pretty well against 95% of removal, including the rotnest drake you mentioned.

Scholomance and Darkmoon Faire just fit in perfectly with the Year of the Phoenix to me.

1st expansion is Ashes of Outland. Ashes, Alar, plus "bringing back" Illidan are all very phoenix-y.

2nd expansion is Scholomance Academy. Extremely heavy magic themes, plus Kel'Thuzad's return, plus a school that descends into necromancy? Again, very phoenix-y.

3rd expansion? It would make sense for another "return from the dead" of the most infamous Gods (and famous Hearthstone cards) we've ever seen. It just fits right in with the theme. Plus it seems like what Hearthstone players have been wanting for years, just like Illidan and Dual-Class Cards.

It's a really great tavern brawl but I think it's funny how little variety there is in the hero selection. 5 of them are demon hunters, with illidan literally being just a normal demon hunter deck. It's also kinda funny how some classes like mage and warrior aren't represented at all, while priest gets shown in 3 separate classes. I get that they're characters from the adventure but still.

Did they say this? I thought they only said it wouldn't be paid like last year's solo content.

Have they come forward and talked about their general design philosophy for adding regions? Will every expansion come with a region?

I'm new to LoR. Does duplicate protection work just like it does in HS?

So LoR is releasing a new region with the expansion? Is this something they're going to be doing in the future too? MtG only has 5 colors. I wonder how long they would be able to keep this up

After hitting legend with highlander priest I gotta say that deck is a powerhouse. Early game removal is strong against DH and rogues, as long as you're lucky enough to draw your holy smite, penance, or breath. I had a pretty good winrate against galakrond warlock, too, but that matchup really depends on you drawing soul mirror at the right time. To anyone who doesn't want to play res priest, I think highlander is a lot more fun, too.

I'm not a very good player so play for fun mostly. To that ended I love deck worthy as many random card/minion/spell generators as possible. Last year I played a Lackey Rogue a fair bit having never liked that hero much in the past. Currently zero minion mage gives me my random itch, but would love to play a deck for a hero that isn't normally a go to for randomness. If anyone has tips

If you like some randomness but also a coherent game plan I recommend Highlander priest. I just hit legend with it and it's a very fun deck if you like winning with value.

Often if I'm really building a deck from scratch I have one card I'm focusing on that I try to exploit. Right before saviors of uldum I remember making a "beast paladin" that utilized the power of untamed beastmaster with cheap card draw like crystology. I hadn't seen the deck before, but I was having a lot of fun with beastmaster in other decks and so it actually ended up being moderately strong. Recently I tried to use the new librams in conjunction with neutrals like vargoth and kaelthas. Haven't had success yet but I'll try to refine it further

I really miss card draw in priest. Without inner fire, there's not as much to get out of it. I don't think northshire cleric and power word shield should have both been gutted. I could sacrifice one, but without either, I often have an empty hand as a control deck.

I think acolyte was a problem because it was too efficient in classes with good card draw. It easily comboed in conjunction with other cards, often draw spells, in order to thin through a combo deck very quickly.

I want a rotating format so bad. I would love to play my old cards without having to go up against the most OP decks imaginable. That's one of the things I like about rank 20-10 in wild. No one's playing busted garbage like odd paladin and quest mage, so you get to see the cards or decks you might miss, like Jade Idol and Deathstalker Rexxar.

I really only want priest and druid to see a bit more light of day. The new priest cards are kind of terrible in relation to everything else, and druid is just a bit too slow. I feel like even if they nerf every other galakrond, priest's will still be useless as the current highlander decks will still be much stronger than anything priest can do. I just want to feast on some madness here.

I was confused with what people were saying about this slotting into quest warrior. But wow do those invoke effects synergize with the quest. Does anyone know if you need to run galakrond in the deck to get the immediate invoke effects?
