I have to say, Jia’s well-thought-out explanation (and the charts) helped me understand the problem in a more real way. Thanks for sharing them, and for working to make HS a positive community for all.
Played as DH to get experience for that class up, not knowing it was bugged. Turns out almost all of my DH cards were board clears (Sigil of Flame, Chaos Nova, Cycle of Hatred). When I played Cycle of Hatred and summoned a 3/3 for each minion it cleared, my opponent conceded.
Congratulations to the winners! Also, props to those who actually went through and commented for the Tavern Crawl. I know I missed out on a few tickets by not doing the comments myself, but I don't usually have much to say until I've *experienced* a card so I chose to sit that portion out. Also, commenting on all the cards often takes more time than I have these days.
Sorry to hear that people tried to scam the card commenting portion though. That's disappointing to hear, although it's probably inevitable as the site grows in popularity. :(
Seems reasonable to me. I keep checking to see if I can make progress yet on the Tavern Crawl to get more entries , and having the giveaway happen before it’s possible to finish that doesn’t seem great.
Thanks! Looks like iOS users can't use Safari on iOS to do it, since mythgardgame.com doesn't work correctly on iOS's Safari. I haven't tried other browsers. I already had the Steam version installed on my computer, so just used that to redeem the code.
Looks like I'm currently missing a few hall of fame cards (Captain's Parrot x2, Elite Tauren Chieftain, Gelbin Mekkatorque) and a few "new" classic cards (Icicle, Natalie). If I open my classic packs now, I have a chance of getting the "new" classic cards I'm missing, but miss out on the chance of getting the hall of fame ones I'm missing. If I wait, the only way to get the "new" ones will be to craft them, but I'll have the chance of getting the hall of fame ones from Classic packs again. The tricky part is, the three hall of fame cards I'm missing weren't originally in Classic Packs (they were in the Rewards/Promo sets), so will they suddenly be available in Classic packs after the Hall of Fame disappears, or will the simply remain only craftable?
And this creates a new OTK in wild. Play the 1/1 that does 2 damage to the opponent when it attacks, give it immune for the turn , and then play this on it. As long as there’s 15 health of other minion stats on the board, it will do 30 to the opponent.
Rather than being able to resurrect a dead minion again each time it after dies (like the normal graveyard proposal), I'd like each resurrection of a minion to be limited to one time. You play a minion, it dies, and a "ghost" goes into the graveyard. The ghost can be rezed from the graveyard, but is set free when it dies, rather than re-entering the graveyard. Some cards that currently copy minions/cards could also create ghosts rather than true copies if the ghost mechanic became a thing. Reborn cards could potentially be changed to summon a 1-health ghost rather than a 1-health copy.
Thanks! After the patch I was wondering why my level hadn’t changed, but it looks like from the table that they only reduced the XP on the tail end of the track, rather than across the board. Makes sense now.
I tried this a few times, and every single time my opponent Hexed or Polymorphed Stalagg or Feugen right after I played it, making me unable to complete the combo.
I haven't seen it in action yet (I'm still working through the tutorial), but according to The Guide it sounds like for any card that you've seen previously (eg. you looked at the top card on your deck, you bounced a card back into the opponent's hand, etc.) it will display the card face up for you, so you don't have to remember that you saw it and remember what it was.
Looks like Mythgard is not currently available on iOS :( I see hints in their discord that indicate that it was pulled from iOS due to issues, with no ETA for a fix.
135/135 rated, 0/135 commented. It's a little disappointing to know that there won't be any giveaways this time around, but if COVID is impacting ad revenues that makes sense. I don't mind having taken the time to rate the cards as they've been revealed, and it does make me feel more involved in this community. I don't have the time to think up a reasonable comment for cards, and have too much dignity to post thoughtless comments just for the sake of having a comment on them.
My favorite moment was seeing Zephyrs [/card in action
is my favorite, because I have fond memories of Micro Machine.
