Pretty much. I haven't played MD, and subsequently my Monarch deck, since one of the first festivals they held. And even then, I don't think I had much non Monarch related support/tech. Might need to find an update.
Luckily you don't have to go in with a full team like Pirates or Humans, so something like Fire, Nature or Holy should be able to carry two and three Naga easily.
I think, piggybacking off of Auspicious, have Cookie, Yogg and say Alexstrasz. Get a turn where it's a Fish and your three mercs, and just use Oh My Yogg. If it can't repeat abilities, then you'll likely hit Dragon Breath, Flame Buffet and Fish Feast, ending the fight.
Somehow lucked out on Heroic with Holy. Second turn, usual Velen + Anduin double Nova combo. Cornelius had the treasure to deal damage when attacked, and I used his protection ability on Anduin. They just decided to shoot Cornelius instead, so I made it through. I've heard Pirates make good work of them, but not many are using Pirates to climb bounties unless they have to.
They either need to nerf the speed of the ability to ~5, or it only produces one clone.
I haven't played since completing the N'Zoth event first week, and maybe then I wasn't paying full attention, but when did it change to have us win speed ties in PvE?
A reduction in the chance to receive coins for a merc you've already max, or nixing that mercs coins altogether, would be pretty nice. Hopefully the eventual excess coins thing will be worth something, like a 10 to 1 conversion; but even if it was that, or they split mercs into different pack groups like regular Hearthstone cards, eventually it's going to be messy (going back to discussion on size of the game and what not)
Wonder if Finely could be dropped on us as a limited event in July, since not far out from that moment would be the launch of the next expansion. There is no cow level is also an interesting tidbit.
Anyway, free Tyrael is pretty awesome, and can't wait to see any new budget comps that show up. Although not looking forward to the coming bundles, hopefully the cost is well rationalized because I'd purchase all 6 Naga in a heartbeat lol (Still need Balinda)

Lord Slitherspear, Rare Fighter; Tidemistress Athissa, Rare Protector; Fathom-Lord Karathress, Rare Protector; Lady Vashj, Epic Fighter; Zar'Jira, the Sea Witch, Epic Caster; and Lady Azshara, Legendary Caster.
