Imagine this with The Fires of Zin-Azshari. Turn 2 transform your deck, turn 3, reduce cost of 5 cards and dredge one, turn 4 play dredged card for 2 mana.
Welcome back Reno! Let make all those aggro decks cry!
Hey, it's not that bad. Hog Rancher saw some play and this is elemental, so can be used in Shaman, lower cost and double battlecries.
Ah yes, unnerfed Undertaker but for mechs.

What purpose does this have?
Technically it's Forbidden Healing, but better. 2 heal for each mana spend, but it's rare, can be played any time and on multiple targets, it's not an echo effect, so copies can be reduced to 0 mana.
Aaaah yes, the memes. I was waiting for this.
Well, Warlock has tons of cheap spells which can destroy friendly minions - Ritual of Doom, Grimoire of Sacrifice etc. So it's a Twisting Nether with body which destroys only enemy minions.
But the real question is, how does devour work in terms of resurrection and deathrattles? Is it new The Amazing Reno and despair of priests? Maw text says "permanently" so it seems that way.
It's the best. In meta where Rogue rogue draws his entire deck in 5 turns is amazing.
Oh yea, now I know what Drakefire Amulet was for.
30 packs - Xyrella, the Devout, Dreadlich Tamsin, Saidan the Scarlet and Beaststalker Tavish.

To create 9/4 Grommash Hellscream? Or 6/3 Al'Akir the Windlord?
Hey hey, do you remember me? It's me Anubisath Warbringer in disguise!

Better question: how it works with Sketchy Information? Or with any deathrattle trigger effect? He only can be HKed during enemy turn, so does that mean he always resummon himself during your turn? And what "resummon" means? Is it just "summon copy" or maybe he dies after triggering deathrattle?
Why is it bad? You play 8 mana minion for 6 mana and get a freeze stack. Even without freeze u couldn't make action with him first turn, and you have nice 8-mana drops - Mo'arg Forgefiend, Plagued Protodrake, Abominable Lieutenant, Arcane Devourer.
Oh, look! A Juicy Psychmelon brother!

Why Perpetual Flame? It not says "enemy minion" so it hurts and freezes your side as well (and if u are unlucky only your side). It's Bouncing Blade on steroids.
Bouncing Blade but better.

Its not that they cant do it. The fact that there is a hidden horde-alliance tag means its clearly possible. But that they have decided against it makes me suspect that its for balancing reasons that we dont have double-triple tags. I mean, if Edwin is a human/pirate, that means he can technically slot into human teams, get buffs from both humans and pirates, which means that's another layer to consider when designing the merc abilities, synergies, etc. Just too much work for really not much gain.
If u put Edwin in human team, then he can be buffed twice as human and once as a pirate. He can get 3 buffs, but he can't share his own buff with non-pirates, so his teammates will be weaker, so pure pirate team would be better anyway (3x pirate buff for all).
Also you can make orc/horde team where everybody gets buffs from horde and orc tags so what's the difference?
