Legitimately unsure that I have ever actually noticed any of the current color borders on weapons until this before/after post pointed it out. New look is much clearer and looks better overall.
I guess you draw the second card instead if you choose to put the top card on the bottom? The wording of the card doesn't seem to say so but I can't imagine why you would want to bury the top card if there's no draw, unless it's some bomb counter thing.
Seems like not a bad way to "thin out" a deck later on - if you pull a 1-drop you don't really need right then you can just skip it and stick it at the bottom.

My random legendary was Natalie Seline. I've been lucky about classic legendaries lately, I got two from my one brawl pack per week in the span of about six weeks. If this isn't my last one I think it's one of my last.
Thanks to all for the well wishes. You're not kidding about it being a feel good moment. For months I swear like 2/3 of all of the games I've played have been against players with the legend card back. Sometimes that would make me feel like, "Dammit, I keep getting matched with ex-legends!" and other times it was encouraging to know that the matchmaker thought I should be playing legends.
I've been playing Hearthstone since way back in beta and legend has always been out of my reach but today I finally made it. I couldn't have gotten there without this site, which helped me learn about a lot of different decks that are out there and how to play with/against them. Probably couldn't have gotten there either without the change in the ranked system (or the latest round of nerfs to other decks), but hey, you gotta play the game that's there, right?
A couple of months ago I was one win away on three separate occasions and I fell back and I thought I'd never get back there again. Today I started out a star into Diamond 2, went 5-1, was one star away then lost, took a break and came back and won two in a row and hit legend. Feels pretty good! If you're out there in the "so close, yet so far" category like I have been for a long time, let me just say that I know you can do it.
His insight will be missed! Certainly by me, who got used to using the meta report to decide what to play this week and without it I'm stuck at Diamond 10 this month. Glad this post has pointed me in the right direction though... looks like I'm going to have to be "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" on the Pirate Warrior.
I don't have any great advice for the OP but I just wanted to say good luck in your quest for first time legend. It is nice that it's only 15 stars from Diamond 5 to legend compared to the old 25 from 5 to legend. Not that I've gotten there yet myself either.
I've been running Dragon Hunter this month too for much of the climb and I've made it up to Diamond 3 before falling back a bit. It's fun when it works and not too frustrating when it fails as long as I don't run into five priests in a row.
Twin Slice, Battlefiend, Netherwalker, Satyr Overseer. My mage opponent banned Battlefiend, I saw Arcane Missiles, Sorcerer's Apprentice and Flamewalker and banned Arcane Missiles. It went poorly for him from there.
Sadly my two-week streak of my classic pack having a legendary (Millhouse and then Thalnos) came to an end, but the dust of 4 commons and a rare is never unwelcome.
As a Hearthstone mobile player the only thing that really makes me feel like a second class citizen is that the Hearthstone client just likes to randomly shut itself off. This has improved over time, in the sense that it used to always happen DURING games and now most of the time it closes on the result screen. I guess that counts as progress.
Somehow missed before now that mobile has launched for Runeterra. Maybe I'll have to give it a shot.
Ran with the Bomb Warrior list from last week's report because I have Blastmaster and Kargath and don't have Gorefiend. Had some fun games in there and some dumb ones. Topped out at Diamond 3, though I'm sure I could play it better. Looking forward to trying the updated one here without the Corsairs and with Warmaul Challenger.
I wish they would give an option to just play one of your Standard decks in a brawl like this so you don't have to go to the trouble of constructing one. I recognize that I'm probably a brawl grump though, I've played since beta and I don't think I've ever intentionally played a brawl past winning my one free pack per week.
Spell Mage got me to Diamond 2 this week. I guess I'm the last one who didn't notice everyone got off that bus. Definitely felt that struggle against Resurrect Priest. I should probably give in and play that one but I find it so boring. Egg Warrior sounds intriguing and I've got some dust to throw at it...

Thanks for your work in getting all of this info in one place. I had not previously understood that the monthly rewards are additive and I find that to be exciting.
Is there any sense of how these leagues are roughly going to line up with the existing ranks? I'm wondering what would be the new equivalent of the "rank 5 floor."
Thanks for this as ever. I felt that Mech Paladin problem running into Galakrond Warrior at rank 3 this week and am going to have to figure out the next experiment if I'm going to get any higher.
Going "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" with Galakrond Warrior is tempting. My only needed crafts would be Bloodsworn Mercenary.

This was a bad day to think, "Ah, I have to play druid for my daily quest, I'll just do it in this brawl."

Priest mirror right now made me want to fall asleep while playing in a way that I haven't felt since rogue mirror during Doom in the Tomb.

No work to create the deck, my opponent was AFK, and my classic pack had a legendary in it (Whitemane). There will never be a better brawl week.

I think he meant silence your opponent's deathrattle Akama (or any of these other prime cards) so the prime is never shuffled into the deck.
I'll miss dropping Leeroy to win and will not miss having Leeroy dropped on me to lose. Eating chicken tonight in honor of a fallen legend.
