The Kangor's Apprentice change I get. It's quite underwhelming so I hope that it finds a spot a Tier 5.
The Captain Flat Tusk nerf surprises me. Was the card that good? It was useful in specific situations but it didn't feel too powerful. Is there any explanation to why the card is nerfed?
I never understood why they can't just fix the root problem. Your turn should start after your opponents turn has ended, not during. This would prevent all abuse of the card and all other similar abuses. You draw your card, only after that the timer starts ticking.
I've noticed a trend a long time ago concerning the meta at a given time during the day. This list is by far not extensive (and not backed by data) but I'm looking for input/feedback to fill out the data and related counters to the 'daily-meta'.
Mornings: Mostly control decks
Afternoon (after 15:00): Agro/Tempo
Late afternoon (after 17:00): Control
Evening: Midrange / OTK deck
So for example, yesterday afternoon I was playing Zoo lock and won 12/15 games. I mainly encountered demon hunter/dragon hunter. This morning I played the same deck and encountered mostly Handlocks and GalaRogue. I've been noticing these fluctuations persistently over at least a year. Have you noticed anything similar? What decks would be the best during specific times of the day to counter the meta at those times?
Amazing article indeed! That's quite the compilation of evidence. Really excited for DK!
I faced a DH with Mana Burn... No idea what his plan was.

What's in the Forged in the Barrens box?
I hope so!
I love these off meta spotlights. Please keep them coming <3
Is there an updated overview somewhere of all treasures and in which pools they are sorted?
I unpacked 5 out of 8 of these legendaries.
