I'm surprised this isn't an epic instead of, I don't know, Dread Raven. But I'm glad they make tech cards accessible

Control decks now have four doomsayers. Seems like they really want to push aggro decks away from the meta

I think people aren't being fair by comparing it to Chameleos or Zerus. The pool is more limited than Zerus, and it contains only legendary minions, which tend to have the strongest effects in the game. Also, those effects are always added to a 5/5/5 body, meaning it will be a play that gives you advantage whenever it has a positive effect (which will be 90 % of the time). Lastly, holding onto it isn't as risky as with the other two, because the cost is adjusted and you'll be always able to play it the next turn if you think you can hold your position, make other plays and wait for a better option. I don't know if I'd go as far as to say it will be a Shaman staple, but it will see way more play than Chameleos and Zerus for sure

I think people are reacting to this a bit strongly. Sure, randomness hinders it, but at worst it will be a vanilla 5 5/5, which is not a bad floor for random effects like this. Most of the times it will have a benefitial effect that will probably make it worth paying the cost for an advantage of tempo, or add good battlecries like Kronx or Zephrys to the Shudder pool (it can even be a second shudder). You know for sure you'll be able to play this every turn starting from turn 5, so you can hold onto it while you make other plays in case you don't get anything good. We will have to see if Shamans can find space for it, but I don't think you outright dust it and it may even make it into high tier lists

Feels like Molten or Corrosive Breath in the sense that the upside isn't as strong as, say, Nether or Candle Breath, but has a very reasonable floor and could be cast even without a dragon in hand in a lot of situations

Kronx looks very promising in Rogue. Don't know if such combo is feasible, but with rogue you can play Kronx to tutor Galakrond + Togwaggle Scheme, and then play Galakrond to draw four 0 mana copies. You also can Shadowstep him in a pinch. Might work as an alternative to Malygos in combo decks
