I do agree that Hearthstone could benefit from more starting Hero Powers that we currently have.

Hunter, Warrior and Priest in particular have a tendency to feel forced, in terms of which archtypes they really can support, because of their Hero Powers.

Any sort of valuegenerating Hero Power could certainly open the door for more control-ish Hunter archtypes.

I'm guessing that they would also introduce a system, where you could either buy the individual cards with money aswell, or be able to purchase gold for money.

The way I see it, cards are attractive if they either do something out of the ordinary or if they're powerful enough to see competitive play. It's rather unlikely to make every single card of an expansion attractive unless all the cards are of linear design. For this reason, there is probably not demand for all 135 of the cards.

An option in this way, is to avoid creating cards that aren't meant to see competitive play. Cards would have to be tuned, to be relatively equal to each other in terms of powerlevel, and those that are deemed a bit on the weaker side, can have more unusual effects, to make them more attractive in earlier parts of the expansion's life. A lot of cards don't see play currently in Hearthstone, not because they're bad, but because their synergy cards don't really work, compared to other decks synergies. If you want to make as many cards as possible attractive for the player, you could the different new synergies together into larger piles of cards, rather than supporting them with 3-4 cards. Noone ended up playing Freeze Shaman in the end, but the deck could likely have been good, had there been around 10 new Freeze cards, instead of 4.

The second option is to use the Rarity based system, like in MTG, where cards of higher rarities are stronger than those of lower rarities. You create a situation where cheaper decks and starter decks are easily attainable with a lower amount of gold, but they're overall weaker than those with cards from the higher rarities. This would create a progression system, where you slowly build towards a stronger deck, if you're free-to-play, that is.

So looking over this, most of the points have already been discussed heavily as fan theories, including class skins, the Tinker class, Nya'lotha, Saurfang sacrificing himself for Sylvanas, Bane becoming Warchief, ETC.

So the things I would focus the most on, is the amount of relatively new information.

Dragon Isle makes sense, considering Wrathion still is a thing, and is still doing some things behind the scenes. Usually, he and his agents have been pretty open to us, the adventurers, but as of 8.2 there will for the first time be an agent of his, that actively refuses to give us any information regarding their mission.

The Shadowlands makes sense in the same way, as we still don't know who told Vol'jin to recommend Sylvanas as the next warchief. It is quite heavily suspected that someone with relations to the shadowlands have been pulling strings behind the scenes.

The last new thing is the new Pig race, that isn't Quilboar. It seems like an odd inclusion, if the leak were based only on realistic theories. This is the nail in the coffin that makes me think that this is actually real.

Most cards I create nowadays, are cards that I deem realistic, in terms of whether they could be implemented within the actual game. But that creates an interesting perspective regarding custom created cards. A card is not always bad, just because it's unrealistic in terms how the game is built, if the intention behind the card is placed differently. As with all other hobbies, the main idea with creating cards is to have fun, so sometimes i personally like to create what could be considered Humorous cards from time to others.

I know that feeling all too well.

I've faced several streamers in legend, but the one i'm the fondest of, was a victory against Thijs, back when Fel Reaver aggro druid was still a thing.

Next Art: Create a minion that mentions Battlecry, without it having a Battlecry.

    Billedresultat for action figure

I really want my boy Turalyon to make an apperance at one point or another.

With the characters that they're missing so far, then there will probably be a Burning Legion expansion at one point or another.

    Another Edwin offcourse.

Discover is a mechanic that i've traditionally been a huge fan of, mostly because of the many exciting and unexplored ways that you can utilize it. We see mostly the keyword being used in its simplest form, where is simply adds a specific type of card to your hand, whereas the potential reaches so much further.

Generally Discovering more than a single card haven't been something of standard, which i wanted to try with this card. The ability to obtain atleast 6 Mana worth of Pirates, out of a single card. These pirates may come either as a few midrange dudes, one big dude or a small army of 1-2 drops. Or anything inbetween!

Shadows didn't write this. I did!

I didn't think about the Un-silencing Deathrattle's part, which is another super dope thing that the card can do!

But yeah, even more flexibility, for an already simple and flexible card.

I've been wanting to make a "Weekly Spotlight" article/video for a while, so this might come at some point in the future.

A possible problem with that however, is that it's a minority of the community that is actually interested in Custom Hearthstone creations, and as such might not have the highest priority.

A thing i've always been a fan of, is multi-purpose cards. Generally speaking cards that that effects that are usable in different situations, making them a consideration in more than the average number of decks. This was specifically made with that thought in mind. It can both stand as an anti-Combo card, to deter them from using a combo that requires two of the same card. It can also be used as a value tool, as current wording would allow it to take out the second copy of their removal piece, be that a Weapon, spell or Battlecry minion.

Lastly, it can also be used as a way to thin your deck (if you want to do that). Just be sure you don't have the second copy is in your hand!

As a fanatic card creator, I've been making quite a bit of cards through the times. This is a place where i will be uploading new cards, alongside some that have been well received over the times.

As for my first post i will show you the two cards i'm the most proud that i've made. Feel free to ask any questions, or post any feedback in this thread :D

Upgrades each turn means that it adds it's original effect to the current one each turn.

A card that would summon a minion for this reason summon another of these minions each turn that is has been in your hand.

(Also i predict that Rafaam's Scheme is gonna summon 1/1 Imps)
