Opened 100 packs and got 9 legendaries, 3 of which were golden, and another 2 were in the same pack. Considering I didn't spend any real money this is probably the best pack opening I've had.

There are always aggro decks near the top tiers in the meta, but I think it's disappointing that in an expansion themed around the old gods, barely anyone is actually playing an old god deck because of all the aggro on ladder. You could say they're trying to appeal to mobile gamers, but then why make an expansion themed around turn 10 cards? In the last few days the only old god I've seen on ladder is C'Thun, and I have literally never seen anyone actually play C'Thun in his final form. The games never last that long.

Perhaps blizzard focus too much on stats for individual cards rather than the overall experience for ladder, because I feel like if Blizzard cared about their own themes for each expansion, they'd be a little quicker to nerf a lot of the broken aggro nonsense that's permeating ladder at the moment, and preventing players trying out the more fun, slow decks.

In terms of toxicity, an honorable mention definitely deserves to go to Toxic Reinforcements. I don't know if it has the highest win-rate, but I still wonder what the hell they were thinking with this card. If your opponent's a hunter, and they play this on turn one whilst going first you may as well concede. It basically locks out any opponent without a shit ton of healing or taunts from winning the game. It's a horrible card to play against, and accentuates the feeling that you aren't really interacting with a hunter opponent; they just go face, and you just hope to have enough healing or not go second.

Yes, it should be much lower. Sure you can get really lucky (I got 3 in a row during the descent of dragons pack openings) but most people only remember the times when they get unlucky and that can leave a sour taste. It's fairly ludicrous to spend the same amount of money on hearthstone as a AAA game and only be guaranteed 2 out of 23 legendaries. Also, epics should not have duplicates. I feel like Blizzard deliberately make certain class specific epics OP in order to drive up the deck-building cost (I'm looking at you dragon's pack), while making the neutral epics junk.

Yes, it's way more expensive than it used to be. Obviously the large number of class legendaries is a significant issue but I don't think epics get enough criticism.  If you get unlucky with pack openings, you can basically end up paying for the equivalent of 2 or 3 legendaries in epics just to complete a deck. But hey, who needs a useful epic when you can have soooooo much fun playing cards like Desert Obelisk lolololol.

They could fix Dr. Boom by removing the armour ability and making the mech drop random instead of a discovery effect. this would stop the constant stream of omega devastators you inevitably face late game.

Quest Paladin! Always loved deathrattle-style decks that let you flood your opponent with an endless tide of sticky minions. It also runs a lot of Uldum cards so it actually feels fresh compared to many of the other decks on ladder. Surprisingly effective too; took me from rank 7 to rank 5 with an unbroken winstreak. Control warriors just don't know what to do with all the minions.

I'd really love to play highlander mage but the deck is way too expensive for now.

My favorite card so far would be Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron, because as long-time player I remember the glory days of playing Yogg-Saron and pyroblasting my own face after clearing my own minions off the board.

Whenever I see a terrible epic like this, I just know I'll be opening 5 copies on launch day.

Under 25 minutes. Breezed through it by choosing Dr boom and selecting Curse of Rafam twice (so that they were taking eight damage per turn at the start). Barely even interacted with the bosses.
