I didn't realize Even Paladin was so powerful, I played it a decent amount but I thought it was just a good deck, not the best deck of all time. I did beat BoarControl on ladder with it though, so I guess that points to something considering my track record as a player lol
For this specific format, these cards will return to their original forms. In wild they will remain the same as they currently are. So for example, in the Classic format, Execute will be 1 mana, but in Wild it will stay at 2 mana.
I got 2 legendaries from my free packs! The dual-class Druid-Hunter one, Shando, from Scholomance, and Maxima the Hunter legendary from Darkmoon Faire! Definitely worth the time I wouldn't normally spend in Duels.
Can confirm, Pressure Plate does not trigger until the opponent is already dead. I played one game of this combo and it was disgusting. I won on turn 7.
Overall it seems cool, but it doesn't seem to fit any specific archetype that I can think of.
Maybe use these as some sort of power swing in a midrange deck? 6/6, maybe even 8/8 feels attainable, and if it can't be silenced like I assume then that makes it pretty decent.
Also a nice boost to the new Y'shaarj, I definitly see them being used with that.
These are awesome, they're a lot of fun! This one was a lot easier then the other one, mainly because the words were a lot longer, but it was still a lot of fun!
I didn't use Mountseller or Kaelthas, the only minions I used were Garden Gnome and Anubisath Defender, no Overflow, no Bogbeam, no Innervate. I used Trump's variant of the deck, he made a video on it.
I have not once faced Spell Druid, at least not that variant, in the last week, and I climbed to legend. I didn't even know it was an archetype in Standard, much less a good one. I thought the Token variant was the best, since I used it to climb, but I guess not. That's what I like about these meta reports, I'm always learning something new! Egg Warrior seems awesome, I'm gonna have to try it out!
I think that Nagrand Slam will fit in Highlander Hunter quite well. I can kind of compare this card to Ragnaros the Firelord, because you run it for the potential face damage and the removal is nice sometimes too. Yes, it's expensive, but I think it'll definitely find a place in HIghlander, maybe some Midrange Hunter list with Kaelthas. It's just such a powerful effect, it's got to fit somewhere in my honest opinion.
Could be good, need to see the rest of the set to see if there's enough support for it. As of right now, it seems alright
0 mana spells almost always see play, so I wouldn't completely count this out, but as of right now I don't see this making the cut in most decks.
It's a 1 mana 1/3 beast, it will see play no matter what, the upside is a great bonus
Seems very powerful, nice highend for some sort of midrange druid deck I would think.
I'm so happy they started doing these weekly Q&As, the communication aspect of this game is much improved!

I'm with you on forgeting Saddlemaster existed, I haven't seen that card once since the set was announced.

Wasn't Unleash the Hounds 2 mana at one point? Or was that in the beta?
Top of the article says it's from Diamond to Legend

Love these, please continue to do more in the future!
Would this be when the "mini-expansion" gets released too I wonder?
I loved Even Paladin with Corpsetaker, that deck along with Silver Hand paladin got my Paladin to 500 wins.
