My very first win in Battlegrounds was with a Murloc strategy, with Giantfin too. 

A successful run heavily relies on you getting a copy of Brann though.  I would have been surprised if anyone could crack my 5/7 board of Divine Shield + Windfury + Poisonous minions.

I'd like to see Zilliax in this mode.

Not sure which Hero Power I would choose over Magnetic or Lifesteal synergy, but Divine Shield is out since that's George's thing.

Nice to see that they're already attempting to balance the new game mode.  I'm a bit surprised that Nightmare Amalgam didn't get nerfed considering how ubiquitous it is, but we'll see...

As for Zapp, I have no clue.  Maybe if you get a triple on a tier 6 card you'll get rewarded with a tier 8 card.  Maybe more cards will get added to that tier in the future.

EDIT: Just saw the mention of Effigy.

Pretty sure they said that cosmetics such as new game boards and guardians would be "coin only" purchases.  They were also open to any other ideas for cosmetics.  No doubt we'll see different card backs or animated cards fall into this category if that what they choose.

I think this type of progression system is good, but we'll have to see how it works after they release a new set.  Do we start with no new cards or will there be a "basic" package for the new cards that are unlocked already?  Will there be Region Exp exclusive to the new set?  We just don't know yet.  It's not like Hearthstone where someone can purchase an obscene amount of packs and have their collection complete on day 1.  We'll have to take the slow route of unlocking new cards by playing with sub-par options, or spend money/shards to get the cards we actually want to use.

Awesome news all around!  The site's really coming together.

Probably low on the totem pole in terms of what's coming next, but is there any hope for a return of card sounds?  I know there was an issue with the exporter after the K&C expansion, but was it directly related to the old website's limitations?  Just curious.

Either way, keep up the great work folks!
