Amid all the noise from MARVEL SNAP's win at The Game Awards for Best Mobile Game, there's something else Second Dinner is celebrating: a music video (I know, right?) that dropped early December 8 (but not too early), featuring Martin Garrix and JVKE. The song is called "Hero," and the animated cinematic that goes along with it is just under 3 minutes long: Hero Music Video.

We’ve been keeping a secret of Super Hero proportions for months now and are excited to finally announce the news: we just dropped our first official MARVEL SNAP song and music video, with two massive super stars: DJ/Producer, Martin Garrix and multi-talented viral singer, songwriter, and producer JVKE! In the mind-melding adventure video inspired by the game, epic Marvel love stories are used to explore the trials and tribulations of falling in and out of love. You can be one of the very first to check it out here.

And we couldn’t just release an epic music video without some awesome in-game content as well! Starting today, we are hosting a massive in-game "Hero" event featuring special themed rewards, offers, and events.

Fast Facts: Hero Event

  • All players that login starting today will receive a free Storm Hero variant card, illustrated by the original concept artist that worked on the Black Panther and Storm character designs for the Hero music video, Jander González Mella! After the one-week free login reward window, the Storm Hero Variant card will be added to the Token Shop as an Ultimate Variant.
  • We are launching FOUR, yes four, limited time 'Hero' variant bundles, available for purchase in-game now, which includes variants of many of the characters featured in the music video.

One of the four aforementioned bundles is the Hearts Wild Bundle, which offers two "90s" Variants of Gambit and Rogue, looking like they did in X-Men: The Animated Series, with accompanying Avatars and 1500 Credits - all of which can be yours for the low, low price of $29.99 USD. While we're not sure of the specifics of the other three bundles, we'll be sure to keep you posted as we gather more information about them.

If nothing else, make sure you pick up the free "Hero" Storm Variant; it should be sitting in your Inbox right now, ready to claim. If you're a PC player, this means you'll have to get out your phone, since the Inbox feature is still unavailable on the Early Access PC build. Make sure you get in there soon, because this Variant Log-In reward will only be available for one week.

Players will also get additional Log-In rewards in their Inboxes over the next couple of days: 100 Credits on Day 2, and 150 Credits on Day 3. Like the Storm Variant, we expect these Log-In rewards to expire after one week.
