Well, this is a bit of a surprise. Konami just announced their own animation studio, simply titled Konami Animation. To coincide with this announcement, they also released a video celebrating 25 years of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, showcasing a variety of archetypes throughout the game's history. The very last scene might be a teaser for a potential Sky Striker anime, an archetype that received its own Manga starting in December 2022.

Fun fact: The logo at the end (partially) plays the Konami Code

According to this article from Famistu (hope you know Japanese), Konami won't focus exclusively on their own IPs, and will also work on other project. This has actually already happened, as Konami Animation helped with Storyboarding, CG and Composition for the opening of the Seven Spell Blades anime. That said, it'll be interesting to see what other Konami IPs, if any, will be tackled by the studio, and what will happen to the Castlevania anime that is currently made by Powerhouse animation.

Update: The official site for Konami Animation.
