The latest Pokemon Presents just wrapped up, and it came with the announcement of a new Pokemon Legends game. Titled Pokemon Legends Z-A. This game seems to take place in Lumiose City, a prominent central hub in the X and Y series of games. Not much is known about it at the moment, other than the fact that Mega Evolutions will be making a return. Taking a look at the logo, it's possible there will be a tech vs nature theme, judging by the hexagons in the Z and the leaf-like patterns in the A.

The reveal trailer features an "Urban Redevelopment Plan" for the city, so it's possible the game takes place in the future, when the city gets some updates or even expands. The rest of the trailer shows a lot futuristic-like holograms for the Pokemon and the humans around them, giving this theory a small leg to stand on. This in contrast to Legends Arceus, which takes place in the somewhat distant past. We'll just have to wait for more details, closer to its 2025 release.

Update: According to a tweet from Nintendo of America, the game will be set entirely within the city.
