Palworld's next game update is going to be making base management a whole lot smoother with a huge update being teased for the Monitoring Stand.

Currently, the Monitoring Stand allows you to generically choose how the Pals at your base behave from three options: Normal, Hard Working, and Super-Hard Working. These options will change their movement speed, work speed, and how quickly they deplete their SAN and Hunger. This isn't an ideal scenario and Pocket Pair clearly agrees with the new update adding micromanagement to what tasks each of your Pals are allowed to perform.

This should make it quite a bit easier for you to make your base more efficient, preventing Pals with several work types from attempting all their jobs. There is nothing more frustrating that a water pal who decides to go mining for a bit instead of grinding that grain into flour as everyone else starves.

This update reminds us of Rimworld's priority interface, though slightly simplified. If you aren't familiar with Rimworld, you can assign a numerical value to each action your prisoners wonderful villagers can make, which tells them in what priority level to perform their tasks. With Palworld's version, we're getting a simple on or off switch, so although it won't be as deep, it will without a doubt improve the overall experience and make the Monitoring Stand feel like a must.

There is no currently announced release date for the next Palworld update, but we're looking forward to taking on the first raid boss, Bellanoir.
