Best Fiora deck for the meta right now?

Submitted 4 years, 2 months ago by

Been testing out Fiora and although she can be quite tricky to pilot at times, I find her very rewarding to play imo :)

What do you think the best version(s) of the deck are at the moment?

Any tips on match-ups would be greatly appreciated, but not expected.

I'm pretty sure just going with Ionia, stacking barriers and waiting until you can OTK with Judgement is the way to go

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

OTK with Judgment may trick someone now, but people will learn and it'll become harder and harder to make it works (the opponent just need to avoid an all in attack to negate it). The best solution - imho - is a deck that can keep Fiora alive as long as possible with buffs and Barrier but I haven't seen performing list for now.

From what I see streamers play, it looks like most successful decks are Ionia + Damacia that never fully commit to Fiora's win condition and keep up pressure by just beating down via elusives--e.g.:

Biggest trick is remembering what burst options an opponent has (e.g., Stand Alone), as you don't get the opportunity to counter-play with your cards, even if they are burst too.

Here's an recent vid from Swim (granted, he loses Fiora pretty early) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSyN2Dub33U

When burst cards are played in battle phase, you DO get another turn to counter-play. You just can't stop them from resolving with deny.

I think the point is more that you can't remove before the Burst happens. So in the specified example, Stand Alone will trigger before you can remove with (say) Mystic Shot
