One of the most interesting cards in the set, IMO.  Probably easy to play around but slow control decks like warrior and druid will like it if Paladin takes over the meta.

seems too slow to make use of.. when you want to silence something you want to do it immediately.

I initially skipped the first keyword and somehow thought it was Battlecry, it looked insane :D Much less so with Deathrattle, but if Wall Priests rise again, who knows what desperate techs we'll need to include.

Seems too slow and awkward to make use of, potentially interesting idea though.

silence on a deathrattle is way too unreliable...

Interesting. This does silence your own minions meaning that you will be restricted in what you will be able to do, but you can use this to your advantage in a Silence Priest type deck. Also, the deathrattle means that your opponent will have some agency in deciding when it triggers. It also gives them some time to make use of their abilities before they are silenced, and also some warning to not play more minions ahead of time which will cause them to make slow plays. In this way you can use it in the same way you might use a Doomsayer, playing it on an empty or near empty board just to threaten your opponent and scare them away from playing minions.

One other thing I find interesting about this card is that it is the only silence card vulnerable to other silence effects.

The deathrattle makes it a bit awkward, but a neutral Kayn Sunfury (with a bit of work), is nothing to overlook. It has huge potential, only held back by the fact that it silences Broomstick afterwards.

Had it been a battlecry it would've been the greatest card printed in this expansion, even as a tech card.

But since it allows your opponent to choose first if they'd like to pop it, it'll more likely be a burden to you than to your opponent. Ironically, silencing this saves the entire board from being silenced.

Nice tech card that depends on the meta, would probably do well with broom

It could combo will with Animated Broomstick which could actually be a viable combo for getting past your opponent. Otherwise though, it's too awkward and slow to use effectively and it relies on having that combo to be playable.

This is a really neat card, and the first time Silence is a deathrattle, unless I'm mistaken. I think it could be quite useful!

Combined with something like Animated Broomstick, this is flipping the bird to all the board and hand buff that is coming out.  Not bad at all

LOTS of potential with this card. Showstopper + [Hearthstone Card (Enchanted Broomstick) Not Found] is a neutral [Hearthstone Card (Mass Dispell) Not Found], but it doesn't draw a card. Maybe Showstopper will see play in a resurgence of Silence Priest? That decks problem was finding silence cards, and Showstopper helps with silencing.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

I dont think this will see much play I mean I guess its mass silence could be useful but I just really don't think anyone would put this in their deck

The main issue with this is that silence is reactive in nature, so playing a proactive silence like Showstopper gives your opponent the heads up not to play anything that is a silence target or prevent the deathrattle from triggering. I'd just run Ironbeak Owl instead if you're looking to include silence.

This has a very different usage to the Owl, and can even be used in the likes of a Silence Priest deck to great effect.

I like this one kinda, it is REALLY slow, but against a lot of decks you'll know if you need to play this before silenceable minions drop, and if that don't work we have broom which is basically 3 mana mass dispel, but you don't draw a card.

    Living like that.

Way too slow.  Control deck would want to run this, but it is 2 mana aggro stats.  Just seems weird to me.

Interesting card, perhaps return of silence Priest from the past? I wonder if we have enough cannot attack cards left in standard though.

Too slow, even for control or silence priest.

    But maybe with Animated Broomstick...

Nothing more than pack filler. Possible to get it from lackeys though, which is interesting.

Seems great vs deathrattle/buff decks but will it be good enough?

Not sure if decks will want to run this and Animated Broomstick just to mass silence, when most decks don't even bother running Ironbeak Owl.

Love seeing this kind of effect on a neutral minion, even if it probably won't see play due to the unpredictability of when you can actually use the effect. Fun note: if you try to activate its Deathrattle before it dies, you can't get it a second time, since it'll Silence itself.

Can be very strong, even though it's strange for it to be a deathrattle effect

I'm not excited about having the effect be a deathrattle. I guess it would be a much more expensive card to make it a battlecry though. How do you prep for this? I guess the best options would be for it to be included with some way to kill your own minions. Maybe it gets played with broom to rush it at something?

Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.

This card is a very slow Silence that you would only run if you expected to run into heavy enchantments decks a lot. If this sees play, it's probably because a very specific deck (likely Libram Paladin) needs a nerf.

    I have spoken.
