We're a few days into the expansion now where the dust begins to settle but we're still seeing some great innovation and a series of Old Gods spotlights that we must continue! Let's check out some of the outstanding Standard N'Zoth decks that are seeing play. A word of caution: There are not too many!

Menagerie Paladin

Paladin has been making waves in the Darkmoon Faire, remaining a super popular choice for play since it only received cards that further made the class' current options better. Thanks to the addition of N'Zoth though (and other fantastic additions), we've been able to bust out of our pure shell and follow in the footsteps of The Curator.

These are all the same cards we've seen in Paladin over the past few months, alongside newcomers from the Faire, and interestingly enough, the entire deck is made up of cards that were released in 2020. Regretfully, we were not able to say Year of the Phoenix because of that silly [Hearthstone Card (Evasive Drake) Not Found], but we'll take at least one good thing in 2020.

Menagerie Highlander Warrior

With the introduction of Ringmaster Whatley and his Baton, it should be no surprise seeing N'Zoth lurking within this deck. We've got a healthy chunk of tribes present in the deck for ultimate summoning power to clear house later on, and we've also got [Hearthstone Card (C'Thun the Shattered) Not Found] for that sweet control package that makes Warrior even better.

Big Druid

When you want to get crazy value out of a card that brings back minions from the dead, the obvious answer is to make sure they're huge. Big Druid received some fantastic support in the expansion through not only N'Zoth but a key component he can summon, Fizzy Elemental. In fact, all our Elementals in this deck are Taunt minions, and our Dragons, and our Beasts. We really should just call this deck Taunt++ Druid.
