Quick question: Is Shield Slam on a stick for 3-more mana better than the flexibility of being able to stack armor on the same turn you use it? I'm not sure it is.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
My first thought was that this looks bonkers. Then I remembered that Groundskeeper is still in Standard, and when was the last time you saw anyone playing that? Unconditional Shield Slam is a lot better than conditional Flash Heal of course, but it's not that far off.
If Control Warrior is good, then this card will be played. If Control Warrior is struggling, I don't think this card is good enough to make an impact.

Hmm. Turns out he's dead.
The only reason why this card isn't taking home 5 stars from me is that its 100% only ever going to be played in a heavy, control oriented warrior.
But honestly, this is about as good as it can get. A 4/5 taunt is already better than vanilla 4 cost minions, and being able to destroy something along is just crazy. Maybe bring managerie warrior back before rotation? We'll see. But if this card doesn't see play, it would be through no fault of its own.
Shield Slam on a stick.
Will likely see play in control warrior (removal + taunt) as they run enough armor gain to make this worth it. Outside of that archetype, I have trouble seeing this card see play.
Yeti with taunt, AND it has Shield Slam build in? Now thats AMAZING. Worst case scenario it's a yeti with taunt, which isn't that bad. It also had synergy with Glory Chaser i guess? Might be important if they scale back card draw i guess. Oh an it's a decent ress target for N'Zoth, God of the Deep i guess? Even though that rotates next expansion. :[
Standard: 100% will see play in control warrior, even though that decks is trash right now. It also might see play in Charge warrior, as that deck has a lot of armor.
Wild: EVEN cost, so maybe EVEN warrior experiments with it? But that deck is not that good if i recall correctly. Probably wont see play honestly, as the best warrior decks are either Pirate warrior or ODD Warrior.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Shield Slam with a body with taunt. Seems pretty nice.
