Random discard is bad unless there'S a dedicated discard archetype. 6-mana is also really slow.
I think I need to point out that Brittlebone Destroyer is still in Standard and does not see play despite having excellent synergy in a powerful meta deck. If Questlock doesn't need Brittlebone it won't need this either. Same goes for Owllock (who can't run this anyways).
Hoping for some discard support in the future but right now this looks like just a meme card for meme's sake (which is still pretty funny. It's 50% Deathwing)

Am I the only one who saw this card and immediately thought of the mini Deathwing in the “Hearthstone is Home” music video?!
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Its a 6/6 for 5, with a nice tempo swing coming with it.
But it has a terrible downside - the battlecry kills randomly, and more crucially, it discards a card from your hand, which in most decks that's not zoo is an instant no-no. We have seen in the past how hand discards are fairly devastating, and even while Soulwarden and High Priestess Jeklik was in standard discolock never really flew anywhere further than tier 2-3, usually the latter.
Its only hope is for the meta to change to big minions, or for some form of discolock/zoolock to come back. And honestly, Im not optimistic.

Art aside, it may see some experimentation but will probably only shine after the standard rotation. It's definitely good against big minion decks like Guff/Clown Druid... but that's about it, unless they add more discard support again.

Hmm this is a interesting card. Unfortunately it does target a RANDOM enemy minion, but it does have some good stats.
Standard: Lacks synergy. There isn't a discardlock deck in standard right now, and zoolock isn't doing that well.... Hand of Gul'dan is in standard, but it will rotate next expansion. Spawn of Deathwing will need some serious support in future sets so the downside can become an upside. Also in terms of removing 1 minion, Brittlebone Destroyer is still in standard and it's way better, but sees no play. Spawn of Deathwing is at its best in a meta where the board matters, and as long as they keep pushing board battles again i'm happy.
Wild: Discardlock is a playable deck, which will experiment with Spawn of Deathwing. It might be too slow at 5 mana, BUT it does have a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to see if it makes the cut.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
A miniature version of OG Deathwing's effect. Unfortunately, discarding your entire hand usually put you at a big disadvantage, and I don't think this will be that great either.
I want so badly for this to be awesome, but I think this is going to be like finding out the Easter Bunny isn't real
I kinda like it even tough it does not look that good !
The destroy ability is random but could pay off sometimes - same goes for the Discard i guess ...
