There's some really degenerate shit you can pull with Soulbound Ashtongue isn't there? 4-card 10-mana combo for 20 face damage.
I get the feeling this won't cost 1-mana for long...or maybe I'm just paranoid.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
So some background to the name of this card: First memed about in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtvIYRrgZ04 then added as a voice line to Raid Leader. Quite fitting though, considering the origin

Probably its just removal, unless team5 prints something to make this a game ending card
At present its just Soulbound Ashtongue, which will rotate in 2 months, and then there's also the issue: why play this at all? Shield slam still works and does the job more cleanly than this card, as far as combo is concerned.
But its 1 mana removal, and even if you have to take damage for it, it might still be better than leaving a minion on board without an answer.
Pre-rotation: Soulbound Ashtongue still in standard, we will see that OTK return.
Post-rotation: Probably might see play as some kind of removal, kinda like a Shield Slam but you actually take damage. Still i think it might see play.
Wild: This might go in a ODD-warrior deck with the Silas Darkmoon + Soulbound Ashtongue OTK, in case they don't manage to generate enough armor because of all the aggro decks.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I find this card amusing because if one of us Fan Creators came up with it, we'd probably be laughed out of the room. "Ten Attack, for 1-Mana?! GG, OP!" :D
have weapon : 2x Hit It Very Hard + 2x To the Front! + Mr. Smite for 2 mana + 2x Bloodsail Raider
10 mana - charge 22 + 22 + 6 (not counts weapon base dmg so raiders gain even more depends on what weapon you have and you can face trade big taunt)
I'm pretty sure Bloodsail Raider won't see the +10 attack buffs since these apply to the hero directly, not the weapon.

Right, but my point is the +10 isn't considered weapon dmg because it is applied directly to your hero and leaves the weapon unchanged. You can test it currently with something like Heroic Strike, which Bloodsail Corsair's battlecry completely ignores.
Is this meant to be used with ogre type cards (50% chance to attack the right target)?
I think this is hilarious and just like a double edged sword, great and dangerous.

Only see this working as some sort of OTK with the Ashtongue , maybe some pirate shenanigans but overall pretty meh ...

Well, if you use it to remove a big minion, you'll probably take a lot of face damage, so maybe the cost is good. I'm fairly certain Warrior has better ways to remove shit though.
