Honestly pretty great for Shaman. Shaman has a lot of great 4 drops as well as battlecry synergy.
Jeweled Scarab used to be a god gift to shaman because Hex was 3 mana, and by means god gift, I mean it was wonderful to get another hex.
I like your idea, but his guy looks very weak though as 3 mana, I don’t think it’s worth it to add a slower jeweled scarab into your deck. Jeweled scarab in my opinion was way much better back then when shaman had an access to hex, but jeweled scarab wasn’t a super good card too.
That and shaman had a lot of other good survival tools at 3 mana. Lightning Storm, Healing Wave, Elemental Destruction, Feral Spirit, etc.
Oh yeah, these Forum Signatures are a thing.
Probably just a pack filler/arena card.. unless there is a Sunkeeper Tarim level 4 drop in some class that you would want to pick up more frequently.. or a 30th card in highlander decks.
I don't think this card is too bad. I like that it can keep you on curve anyway in some cases. Depends a lot on what class you are playing it in. Fitting that they nerfer Hex to 4 mana and then made scarab 2.0 to discover it once again lol.
